| Spec score · HR Policy Management Software | 9.1 (#1) | 8.4 (#4) |
| Encryption | The privacy policy specifies TLS 1.2 or higher in transit and AWS-managed encryption for databases, object storage, and backups. | Traffic uses TLS 1.2 or newer with HSTS, while databases and file uploads use AES-256 encryption at rest. |
| Hosting | Accedo states that databases, object storage, logs, authentication state, and email delivery operate in AWS regions in the United States. | Primary customer data is hosted in Supabase Postgres in Frankfurt, with application delivery through a Vercel EU deployment and global CDN. |
| Integrations | SSO with SAML is available on Standard and Premium, and the help documentation names Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace, and OneLogin as identity-provider examples. | Directory synchronisation is offered for Azure AD and Google Workspace, with SSO through Microsoft and Google. |
| Purpose | Accedo is a policy management and compliance tracking platform for organizations. | Policyflow distributes policies, records who confirmed each version, and exports evidence for auditors. |
| Reminders | Accedo automatically reminds users who have not acknowledged required policies. | Automated reminders are sent only to people who have not yet confirmed, with optional escalation. |
| Support | The help center directs users who cannot find an answer to email [email protected]. | The pricing page lists email support for Core and gives [email protected] as the contact address. |
| Tenant isolation | Accedo says tenant data isolation is enforced at application, database, and IAM-policy layers. | Every tenant table uses PostgreSQL row-level security to isolate organisations. |
| What it does | Accedo is a workplace policy-management service that distributes policies, collects acknowledgments, and tracks compliance records. | Policyflow lets organisations draft, approve, distribute and track employee policy attestations, then export evidence. |

In their own words
Accedo
Accedo is a web-based platform for managing organizational policies and tracking compliance. Teams can upload and update policies with version control, then send acknowledgment requests through magic links. The system records who has acknowledged each policy, reports compliance rates and user engagement, and automatically reminds people who have not responded. Employees can acknowledge policies using a responsive experience on desktop, tablet, or phone. The permanent Free plan supports up to 25 users and 10 active policies, with one admin and one year of data retention; it has no groups, scheduled reminders, analytics, or audit log. Standard costs $2.50 a year as listed, with a $500 per year minimum covering up to 200 users. Standard and Premium include SSO with SAML and SCIM 2.0 provisioning. The maker says the service uses role-based access control, immutable audit trails, and encryption in transit and at rest. Accedo highlights veterinary practices, trucking and fleets, insurance agencies, and software startups as potential users.
Policyflow
Policyflow is a web service for distributing policies, recording confirmations for each document version and exporting auditor evidence. Its builder uses a clause library and tracks clause coverage during drafting. Uploaded PDFs become editable requirement passages while retaining their original wording. Reviewers can approve drafts in sequence, with sign-offs and later confirmations tied to specific versions. Campaigns send personal, single-use email links, so recipients need no account or installation. Evidence exports include PDF certificates and CSV logs with version and timestamp details. Policyflow lists Azure AD and Google Workspace directory synchronization, plus Microsoft and Google single sign-on. Its acknowledgement-evidence use cases include ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR, NIS2, DORA and HIPAA. The free plan costs nothing, has no time limit and supports up to 15 employees. Core costs €155 a month when billed annually for up to 250 covered people. The Trust Center says its controls are self-assessed or aligned, and that Policyflow is not ISO 27001 certified and has no SOC 2 Type II report.
