AcclaimIP
AcclaimIP helps corporate IP teams, law firms, and other IP professionals search patent information, analyze portfolios, and prepare reports for legal, strategic, and business decisions. It covers more than 175 million patent documents from 106 patenting jurisdictions, with an average of over 170,000 additions each week. Teams can use it for prior-art searches, technology landscape reviews, competitor monitoring, and contextual analysis of search results. Portfolio tools support assessment of patent strength, coverage, and competitive position for filing, prosecution, portfolio review, licensing, and enforcement. Visual outputs can be shared with stakeholders. AcclaimIP runs in a standard web browser, within a single browser tab, and is available as a standalone subscription or integrated with Anaqua platforms including AQX and PATTSY WAVE. Searcher, Practitioner, and Analyst access levels offer different capabilities; Practitioner adds USPTO file-wrapper access, while Analyst adds analytics and private-data tools. Custom fields require a paid add-on, and API use requires an additional license and customer programming work. Pricing is on request; licensing is annual, prepaid, and per seat.
FindIP
FindIP provides patent search through a browser playground and a REST API for use in other services. It searches published patents from the US, China, Japan, Korea, and Europe; full-text coverage begins in 2001, except China, where it begins in 2010. Semantic search matches text by meaning, while drawing search finds visually similar patent illustrations. Sequence search covers similar DNA, RNA, or protein sequences. Image and sequence results can be reranked by topic. Queries may be written in English, Korean, Japanese, Chinese, or German across all five jurisdictions. FindIP says each result is a publication in its database that can be checked by publication number. Its MCP connection supports Claude Desktop and Web and ChatGPT during beta. The Free plan costs nothing and includes 30 search credits and all APIs. Basic costs $45 a month, billed excluding tax, and includes 300 monthly credits. Text searches use one credit; image search, sequence search, and trend analysis use two. The listed rate limit is 60 requests per minute on Free, Basic, and Pro; Enterprise has a custom limit.
