Acumatica Construction Edition
Acumatica Construction Edition is a cloud construction business management solution for small and midsized general contractors, MEP professionals, specialty trades, home builders, and heavy civil contractors. Its financial and project tools cover job costing, project management, progress billing, cost projections, retainage, commitments, and subcontractor management, with advanced project reporting. Field teams can use mobile devices to submit time and expenses, update RFIs, send daily reports, and annotate drawings and photo logs. Change order workflows support unit-rate, retainage, and cost-only changes and can link drop-ship workflows. The platform supports browser access and mobile use on Android and iOS, with public- or private-cloud deployment. Acumatica describes an open platform with APIs and integrations including STACK for takeoff and estimating, Procore, SmartSheet, Office 365, DocuSign, and Adobe. Listed security measures include role-based controls, MFA, encryption, audit trails, backups, and disaster recovery. Acumatica says it meets or exceeds standards including SOC 1/2/3, GDPR, and FDA. Pricing is custom, based on applications, usage, resources, and deployment preferences rather than user seats, and sales run through its partner channel.
TimeSuite
TimeSuite is a construction ERP that brings accounting, job costing, project management, estimating, scheduling, payroll, CRM, and timecards into one platform for contractors. Its maker describes the system as a centralized relational platform intended to avoid separate modules and duplicated data. Financial capabilities include automated over- and under-billings, contract summaries tied to financial statements, job status projections, and percentage-of-completion projection logs. Project tools cover submittals, RFIs, plan sets, change orders, and lien releases. Scheduling includes customizable calendar and dispatch views, task management, estimate and time-and-materials scheduling, and integrated GPS tracking. Geo timecards support location verification, geofences, and breadcrumb tracking without a separate app. Approval workflows cover purchase orders, subcontracts, accounts payable invoices, and timecards, with notifications. Communication tools include messaging, document storage, email and calendar sync, digital forms with signatures, task tracking, and custom reports. TimeSuite runs on Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows. Founded in 1994 by a construction-specific CPA firm in the Denver area, the company invites prospective customers to schedule a demo.
