Overview

Easyship brings carrier selection, order processing and shipping paperwork together for merchants shipping across multiple sales channels or borders. It is a strong fit for businesses that need broad courier access and an integrated shipping workflow, but its shipment-based plan tiers and lack of a returns portal make it less compelling for simpler operations.

The platform connects to more than 550 courier services and advertises rates discounted by up to 91% from retail prices. It serves more than 50 origin countries and more than 200 destinations, with native integrations for Shopify, WooCommerce, WIX, Squarespace, eBay, Amazon, TikTok Shop and more than 55 other commerce and marketplace platforms. Easyship is available on Android, iOS and web, and also offers an API.

Key features

Shipping workflow and carrier choice

Easyship syncs and manages orders, compares courier rates, and creates labels individually or in bulk. Branded tracking and delivery updates extend the workflow after dispatch, while customs documents and import tax and duty calculations support cross-border shipments. The wide carrier network is useful when a merchant wants to compare services from a single account; the advertised maximum discount is a ceiling, not a promise for every parcel.

It supports shipping automation, rate shopping, label printing and shipment tracking, but has no returns portal. Merchants that need returns handled as part of the same customer-facing shipping flow will need another solution for that job.

API and reliability

The Open Shipping API provides multi-carrier rates, domestic and international address validation, HS codes, tax and duty calculations, and third-party tracking. Advanced API usage is pay-as-you-go on Free. Paid plans include monthly successful-call allocations, with per-call charges for overages rather than blocked access, which helps keep a high-volume integration running but makes usage above the allocation an ongoing cost to watch.

Easyship states 99.99% platform uptime. Its shipping analytics infrastructure is described as SOC 2 and GDPR compliant with 99.9% uptime. Those figures apply to different parts of the service and should not be conflated.

Shipping restrictions

Easyship prohibits items including alcohol, ammunition, firearms, tobacco, prescription pharmaceuticals, explosives, flammable or hazardous products, and counterfeit goods. Merchants whose catalog includes these products should confirm that a suitable shipping workflow is possible before choosing the platform.

Pricing

Easyship uses a freemium model, with a Free plan and a 14-day trial. Shipment-handling plans scale by monthly volume; separate Scale tiers define API call allocations. Prices below are monthly unless the plan is explicitly free.

Free — 0.00 USD per free, free forever: fewer than 50 shipments per month, discounted shipping rates, intelligent courier selection, import tax and duty calculation, and smart box selection. It is a sensible starting point for low-volume sellers, but it does not include the checkout rates, courier-account linking, order sync or live chat support offered on Plus. Advanced API usage is pay-as-you-go.
Plus — 29.00 USD per month, from $29/month: 50–500 shipments per month, shipping rates at checkout, linking to a merchant’s own courier account, automatic order sync and live chat support. Annual billing saves 20%. This is the practical step up for a growing store that needs synced orders and checkout shipping options.
Premier — 69.00 USD per month, from $69/month: 500–2,500 shipments per month, tax and duty displayed at checkout, pre-generated return labels, multi-box shipping and 24/7 phone support. Annual billing saves 20%. It suits higher-volume or cross-border sellers that need these capabilities; pre-generated return labels do not amount to a returns portal.
Scale 1 — 99.00 USD per month, from $99/month: 20,000 included Rates API calls, 1,250 non-US and 1,250 US address-validation calls, and 1,000 off-platform tracking calls.
Scale 2 — 149.00 USD per month, from $149/month: 30,000 included Rates API calls, 1,875 non-US and 1,875 US address-validation calls, and 1,500 off-platform tracking calls.
Scale 3 — 199.00 USD per month, from $199/month: 40,000 included Rates API calls, 2,500 non-US and 2,500 US address-validation calls, and 2,000 off-platform tracking calls.

The Scale plans are for teams whose API demand needs a defined monthly allowance; overages are charged per call without blocking access. Enterprise has custom pricing for a custom high-volume solution, dedicated support, alternative SLAs and specialized features. Easyship advertises 24/7 global support for its integrations, with 24/7 phone support specifically on Premier.

Platforms

Easyship is offered on Android, iOS and web, with an API for integrations and shipping workflows. Its native connections to major storefronts and marketplaces make it relevant to merchants managing more than one sales channel.

Who it's for

Easyship is best suited to eCommerce merchants that ship regularly, sell through multiple channels, or handle international orders and want carrier comparison, labels, tracking and customs tasks in one workflow. The Free tier can serve a small operation below 50 shipments monthly; Plus and Premier map to larger shipment bands, while the Scale tiers target API usage. Businesses requiring a returns portal, or shipping prohibited products, should look elsewhere or supplement Easyship.

Pros and cons

Broad carrier choice: comparing more than 550 courier services in one account can simplify rate selection across shipping needs.
Connected cross-border workflow: customs documents and tax and duty calculations sit alongside labels, tracking and order handling.
Wide commerce coverage: native links to major storefronts and marketplaces, plus more than 55 other platforms, support multi-channel operations.
Volume-based costs: shipment thresholds separate the Free, Plus and Premier tiers, and API overages add charges above paid-plan allocations.
No returns portal: merchants needing an integrated portal for customers to initiate returns will need another tool or process.
Product restrictions: prohibited categories rule out some merchants' catalogs from using Easyship for those shipments.

Alternatives

Consider Veeqo if unlimited monthly orders, users, products and SKUs, warehouses and locations matter more than Easyship’s courier comparison and cross-border workflow. Choose Ordoro if a clearly bounded order-and-channel setup is a better fit: its Essential plan covers 100 orders monthly, one sales channel, one ship-from location and one user, while Advanced is 59.00 USD per month.

17TRACK Business is the more focused option when tracking is the priority: its Free plan covers 50 shipments monthly and includes 3,500 carrier integrations and a customizable tracking page. Sendcloud is worth considering for a smaller parcel operation seeking a no-subscription entry point: its Free plan covers up to 20 parcels per month without requiring a courier contract.

Shippo may suit a store needing a free label-focused start, with up to 30 labels monthly and one user on Starter (App). Shiprocket offers a free Lite tier for up to 60 shipments monthly, but it has no API access. For a price-per-shipment model, NimbusPost lists Essential at 25.51 INR per 500g shipment, with up to 300 orders monthly and multi-channel integration.

ShippingEasy is another shipping software alternative.

Verdict

Choose Easyship if your business needs broad carrier comparison, multi-channel order handling and international shipping tools in one system, with plans that grow from fewer than 50 monthly shipments to API-focused volumes. Look elsewhere if an integrated returns portal is essential, your products fall under its prohibited categories, or your shipping volume and feature needs do not fit its tiered plans.
