AG5
AG5 is paid competency-management software for compliance-critical frontline operations in manufacturing, aerospace, pharmaceuticals, logistics, and food and beverage. It maps competencies and proficiency levels to roles, records assessments with evidence, tracks qualification status and connects skill gaps to training. Certificates hold issue and expiry dates; expired credentials automatically remove employees from the qualified pool. Assessment records show who signed off, when, and the supporting evidence, with exportable reports for ISO 9001, ISO 45001 and AS9100. A mobile app gives supervisors and operators competency data, training reminders, sign-offs and qualification checks. AG5 lists more than 200 integrations across HRIS, learning, business intelligence, scheduling, work-instruction and document systems. Core, Accelerate and Enterprise plans show result tiers but no numeric prices; pricing is on request and there is no free plan. Accelerate includes a public API and SSO.
Skima
Skima is a people development platform for mapping team skills, identifying gaps, planning growth and tracking progress. Its executive dashboard shows KPIs, gap analysis and trends, while a heatmap matrix displays team strengths and gaps. Evaluations use a weighted formula based on level, frequency and criticality. Teams can connect goals to skill gaps and track actions through development plans, then compare team state across quarters, semesters and years. Data can be imported and exported in CSV and JSON formats. Skima works offline with data stored locally in SQLite; the product site says data stays on the user's machine. It is available as a desktop app, a Docker-hosted local web service or a build from source, and the README says it requires no account, cloud or tracking. Desktop updates are cryptographically signed; the updater is desktop-only, and Linux auto-update works for AppImage builds. Skima is free for personal use under PolyForm Noncommercial 1.0.0, with a commercial license available. Its intended users include CEOs and founders, operations and PMO teams, and analysts.
