In their own words
AgentDesk
AgentDesk is a free, open-source customer support system for web, self-hosted, and API use. It combines AI-assisted replies, knowledge retrieval, ticket workflows, routing automation, workflow actions, and human escalation. Customers can arrive through an embeddable web widget, a standalone chat page, Open IM API or WebSocket connections, WeChat Official Account flows, or WeCom Customer Service callbacks. Its hybrid AI model can handle common requests, pass conversation context to a human, and move cases into ticket follow-up. The RAG knowledge base supports FAQs and documents and records retrieval logs for answer tracing. Configurable Skills and MCP tools let AI agents connect with external systems and perform business actions. Deployment documentation covers Docker Compose with MySQL and Qdrant, plus a single-container SQLite and LanceDB trial. Dashboard login supports passwords, OIDC, and WeCom. The Apache License 2.0 governs the project. Documentation recommends changing the initial administrator password, using HTTPS, protecting secrets, and restricting CORS before production use.
