Overview

AiSensy is a WhatsApp marketing and customer-engagement platform for businesses that want campaigns and customer conversations in the same workflow. It suits teams using WhatsApp to acquire leads, sell and provide support, but separate conversation-credit charges mean the subscription is not the whole messaging cost.

Its range is a strength: broadcasts, lead capture, chatbots, AI agents and human handoff cover both outreach and replies. The trade-off is that buyers need to weigh the subscription tier, any separate builder subscription and country-dependent WhatsApp charges against their expected activity.

Compare it with other options in WhatsApp Marketing Software, Conversational Marketing Software and WhatsApp Business API Providers.

Key features

Broadcast campaigns: AiSensy supports multiple messaging categories and scheduling up to two months ahead. That is useful for teams planning campaigns in advance; the reach of a campaign still carries country-dependent conversation-credit costs.
Lead capture and qualification: Click-to-WhatsApp ads bring prospects into chats, while WhatsApp Forms collect information there. Lead qualification and conversation routing help manage the resulting conversations.
Chatbots and human handoff: A drag-and-drop builder supports WhatsApp flows, and conversations can be handed to a human. This makes the platform more suitable for support and sales workflows than a broadcast-only tool.
AI agents: AiSensy says its agents can understand context and handle conversations around the clock. The separate AI Agent Builder plans package monthly AI-message allowances, so teams should match that allowance to their expected demand.
Integrations and API: Named integrations include Shopify, Razorpay, WooCommerce, WebEngage, Zapier, PayU and LeadSquared. AiSensy also describes free API integration for automating notifications from CRMs or portals, useful for teams connecting existing systems.

Pricing

AiSensy has a free plan, paid subscriptions and a 14-day free trial. WhatsApp conversation credits are recharged separately, with per-message charges depending on the recipient's country, so budget for both the plan and messaging.

Plan	Price	What it includes and who it suits
Free Forever	0.00 USD per free	Fair-use limits include up to 200 agents, 500 tags, 100 attributes and 50 segments. A way to start without a subscription, though it is subject to those limits.
Basic	45.00 USD per month	WhatsApp marketing and broadcasting, retargeting and a shared team inbox. A fit for teams needing core campaigns and a shared place to manage replies.
Pro	99.00 USD per month	Advanced campaign capabilities, higher segmentation limits and additional automation. Better suited to teams whose campaigns need more segmentation and automation than Basic provides.
Premium	299.00 USD per month	Higher usage limits, advanced reporting and automation. The step up makes most sense when those capabilities justify the higher recurring cost.
Unlimited	899.00 USD per month	Higher messaging throughput and expanded limits. “Unlimited” remains subject to fair use, including caps of 200 agents, 500 tags, 100 attributes and 50 segments.
Enterprise	Custom pricing	Custom limits and contracts, for businesses that need an individually arranged package.

Separate builder subscriptions are also offered. The WhatsApp AI Agent Builder costs 50.00 USD per month and includes 1,000 AI messages, knowledge-base Q&A, long-term user memory, a no-code builder, tool calling, skills and API integrations. Its annual-billing option is 89.10 USD per year, billed per month, and includes 3,500 AI messages per pricing card with the same listed capabilities.

The Drag & Drop WhatsApp Chatbot Builder costs 80.00 USD per month, or 72.00 USD per year billed annually. Both options include five chatbots, flows triggered by keywords, templates, QR codes and Meta ads, cart management, catalog sharing, Shopify integration and three free AI generations. These are distinct costs to factor in if the core subscription does not meet a team's builder needs.

Platforms

AiSensy supports Android, iOS, web and API. Its mobile apps are linked from its website navigation and footer, while API support gives teams a route to connect systems and automate notifications.

Who it's for

AiSensy is best suited to businesses that want to bring customers into WhatsApp, run broadcasts and manage resulting conversations with automation and human support. Its campaign scheduling, lead capture and routing are relevant to teams handling both acquisition and service. It is less compelling for buyers seeking a single predictable messaging bill, since conversation credits are charged separately, or for teams whose required usage exceeds applicable fair-use limits.

Pros and cons

Pro: Campaigns, chatbots, AI agents and human handoff sit within one WhatsApp-focused platform, supporting both outreach and replies.
Pro: Broadcasts can be scheduled up to two months ahead, and Click-to-WhatsApp ads and Forms support lead acquisition and capture within chats.
Pro: The integration list spans commerce, payments and automation services, with API integration described for CRM or portal notifications.
Con: Conversation credits cost extra and vary by recipient country, complicating the total cost estimate.
Con: The Unlimited plan still has stated fair-use caps on agents, tags, attributes and segments, so the name should not be read as unlimited capacity in every dimension.
Con: Advanced campaign, reporting and automation capabilities sit on higher-priced tiers or separate builder subscriptions, which can raise costs for teams needing more than the basics.

Alternatives

Spoki is worth comparing for its Service plan, which combines AI customer support, unlimited operators, unlimited automations and ticketing; WhatsApp fees are billed separately by Meta.
Botcadence is a lower-cost starting point to consider if 100 AI reply credits, 200 WhatsApp broadcast messages, one team member and one project on its free plan are enough.
Dashly may suit mid-market teams considering inbound revenue agents, with pricing typically starting at $2,500/mo and based on traffic volume and active leads.
Interakt is an alternative if Instagram is the priority: its $12.00 per month Starter plan is Instagram-only and includes unlimited agents in the owner role, DMs and comments.
Intercom is another option for teams looking at a per-seat support package: its Essential plan is $19.00 per month per seat when billed annually and includes Fin AI Agent, Messenger, shared inbox and ticketing.
Greenbubble is an alternative with a $5.00 per month Solo plan billed annually for one workspace, one team member, 1,000 contacts, 5,000 messages, one automation flow and API v2.
Respond.io is worth considering for a five-user Starter plan with unlimited monthly active contacts and 5,000 AI credits at $79/month, billed yearly.
Customers.ai offers another option to compare.

Verdict

Choose AiSensy if WhatsApp is central to both your marketing and customer support and you want campaigns, lead capture, automation and human handoff together. Its main advantage is that breadth; its main reason to look elsewhere is the added, country-dependent cost of conversation credits and the need to check fair-use limits and separate builder pricing against your expected usage.
