In their own words
Alloy Embedded
Alloy Embedded provides identity and fraud risk controls for sponsor banks, BaaS providers, and fintechs. It centralizes KYC, KYB, AML, and fraud prevention policies across fintech partners, with real-time monitoring of partner activity and transactions. A portfolio dashboard shows aggregated partner performance for oversight, audit, and reporting; sponsor banks can also set partner autonomy and guardrails through parent-child accounts. Teams can create cloneable risk rulesets without coding and tailor controls to product type and partner maturity. Fraud detection analyzes identity, behavioral, and transaction data and can flag synthetic identities, account takeovers, and mule activity. The web SDK supports document checks, phone-based identity verification, and device risk assessment. Alloy says its API-first architecture and low-code SDKs integrate with payment processors, card issuers, and ledgering platforms. Pricing is on request; the embedded finance page offers complimentary audit access. Alloy lists SOC 2 and ISO 27001:2022 among its compliance materials and says data is encrypted in transit with TLS 1.2 and at rest with AES-256.
Ravelin
Ravelin is a paid fraud prevention and payments platform for online merchants and payment service providers, with pricing available on request. It covers payment fraud, refund abuse, account security, promotion abuse, partner fraud, 3D Secure, and transaction optimization. Its detection combines custom machine learning, graph networks, behavioral analysis, anonymized consortium data, and expert rules. Ravelin says its consortium database contains more than 9 billion anonymized identity elements and is GDPR-compliant. For payment fraud integrations, customers send transaction and dispute details through an API and receive a recommendation on whether to continue processing. Teams can test rules in a sandbox, predict impact, control the full ruleset, and generate rules from natural-language prompts. Ravelin Insights includes performance monitoring, transaction-anomaly investigation, an AI query builder, and custom reports and dashboards. Transaction optimization uses issuer behavior, PSD2/SCA intelligence, and risk signals to recommend payment routes. Integration options include API endpoints, browser JavaScript, and iOS and Android SDKs. The company says customers receive dedicated account, integration, product support, and data science teams.
