In their own words
AnswerIt
AnswerIt is a web service that generates suggested replies to customer reviews using a business profile and AI. Paste a review and it returns a draft in seconds, using the profile’s tone, industry and goals as context. Drafts can be made shorter, longer or more direct, and users can add their own instruction. The service lists Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Facebook and Airbnb among supported review platforms, with examples for restaurants, hotels, retail businesses, gyms, salons and dental practices. AnswerIt uses OpenAI GPT-4o, sending review text and business context to OpenAI for generation. It stores pasted reviews and generated responses, and says it does not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Replies are suggestions that users must review and edit; automatic publishing is not available. The Free plan is free for five responses monthly. Pro costs $9 a month, billed monthly.
Review Responder
Review Responder is an Android and iOS app that uses AI to draft replies to customer reviews in a business’s voice. Users can paste reviews or scan screenshots from Google, Yelp, TripAdvisor, and Facebook, then choose among three response options and tone choices. Replies can include a user's name, title, and business, and can be saved as reusable templates. The app can also generate QR codes linking to a business’s review page. A user edits each draft and copies it into Google Business Profile; the app does not post there automatically. The maker says the paid tier supports multiple Google Business locations, with replies tuned to each location’s voice and concept. A free plan is available, along with a seven-day full-access trial that does not require a credit card. Pro Monthly costs $9.99 a month; Pro Yearly costs $99.99 a year. Both plans include unlimited drafts, all seven tones, quick reply, and operator-style fingerprint training. Google Play reports encryption in transit and the option to request deletion of collected data. The maker describes the app for operators in businesses including restaurants, hospitality, salons, auto repair, medical and dental, retail, and professional services.
