In their own words
Antidote
Antidote is a cloud-based UX and analytics platform for game studios managing playtesting and research during development. Teams can run their own tests, commission managed playtesting, or use market research services. Data capture includes surveys, gameplay and face recording, think-aloud comments, mobile screen touches, controller inputs, game events, and AFK detection. Analysis options include AI Insights, top moments, annotations, transcripts, survey and sentiment analysis, face emotion detection, automated reports, and data exports. Studios can recruit from Antidote’s community or invite their own players. Games can be delivered through Antidote, a developer download link, or Steam, Epic, Google Play, and App Store launchers. Native support covers PC, Mac, Linux, Android, iOS, and browser games; console testing is possible by arrangement. Plans include a free Indie option with restrictions, pay-as-you-go from $25 per user, Starter at $115 per month per game, and Master at $475 per month per game. The company describes security measures including NDAs, controlled launches, watermarking, and encryption.
G.Round
G.ROUND is a game playtesting and marketing platform for studios and publishers. Open Public Tests let a global audience play unreleased games and submit reviews and surveys. Focus Group Tests target selected player demographics in controlled sessions, with a real-time dashboard for behavior, progress, and feedback. Its launcher encrypts builds and restricts unauthorized access; private tests also use tester NDAs and record gameplay video and audio for feedback and security monitoring. Competitive Beta Tests use tournament formats and groups of 1,000 to 10,000 users for community building and final gameplay and technical checks. Launch Marketing packages may include media and PR, influencer marketing, gameplay content, early reviews, and G.ROUND exposure. The site says its gamer community spans 250 regions. Players access games through Steam keys or the G.ROUND Launcher. Tester information describes upcoming, unreleased PC and console titles, while mobile testing is not currently supported for players. Pricing includes one-time tests and an annual G-Pass plan.
