In their own words
Apparound
Apparound is a cloud-based sales platform for representatives, combining guided selling, CPQ, content management, contract generation, eSignature, sales tracking and reporting. Sales enablement includes centralized content, an agenda, a reseller portal and analytics. Its CPQ uses product rules, price lists and discounts to create personalized offers; configuration rules, discount approvals and quote templates are supported. Quotes can become contracts for digital signing, while sales performance tools cover incentives, commissions, targets and territories. Apparound supports offline use and runs on Android, iOS, web and Windows. Listed business integrations include Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot, SAP, Oracle and Pipedrive. The Headless CPQ plan uses APIs to connect the platform to a customer's website or app. Plans include Essential, Enterprise and Headless CPQ, with features varying by plan; prices are on request. The maker describes GDPR compliance, separate customer databases, encrypted mobile content and API authentication. Public endpoints use TLS 1.1 or later, and fault tolerance and disaster recovery use Azure capabilities.
Epicor CPQ
Epicor CPQ helps manufacturers configure, price, and quote complex custom products while connecting sales, engineering, and manufacturing. Buyers can explore products in 2D or 3D, augmented reality, and virtual reality; prices recalculate as options change. Centralized product and pricing rules help enforce design requirements and prevent invalid configurations. A configuration can produce quotes with renderings, supporting documents, and bills of materials, as well as CAD drawings, assembly instructions, and other production outputs. Epicor names AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and PTC Creo for CAD generation. Integration options include REST APIs, native connections to Salesforce, Teamcenter, and Magento, and MuleSoft connectivity. Analytics collect information about website visitors’ product interactions. The cloud platform includes administration for products, integrations, configurators, buying channels, and users. Epicor positions CPQ for engineer-to-order manufacturers, including automotive, construction and engineering, hardscapes, process manufacturing, and retail. It can be used standalone or integrated with Epicor Industry ERP Cloud. Pricing is paid and available on request.
