Appenate vs Jotform

Appenate is a no-code platform for building data-driven business apps, including mobile forms for field data capture. Its apps can continue collecting information offline and sync when connectivity returns; native apps run on iOS, Android, and Windows. Capture options include signatures, photos, and GPS, and the platform supports advanced workflow handoffs. Its AI tools include form generation, a conversational assistant, voice fill, and photo fill. Listed connectors include Salesforce, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, SharePoint, PowerBI, SQL Server, Google Drive, and ArcGIS, alongside REST API integration. Appenate says its hosted platform runs on Microsoft Azure and offers two-factor authentication. Appenate Server provides an on-premises option with customer control over data, backups, and network security. The company says it uses GDPR as a benchmark for privacy and data protection efforts. Plans start at $20/user/mo billed annually, and the 15-day trial includes free support and training. Paid plans require a minimum of five users. Standard is $20 a month billed annually and includes 1,500 form submissions; Premium is $28 a month billed annually with unlimited submissions and all connectors. Pro costs $36 a month billed annually and adds unlimited AI access and the AI tools.

Jotform is a web and mobile form and workflow platform with products including Form Builder, Jotform Apps, Tables, Inbox, Mobile App, Sign, Workflows, and AI Agents. Forms support quizzes, payment collection, file uploads, multiple embed options, conditional logic, API access, and document templates. Jotform lists integrations for CRM, storage, payments, email, and automations, and advertises more than 150 integrations on its homepage. The free Starter plan costs nothing and includes five forms, 100 monthly submissions, 100 MB upload space, 1,000 monthly form views, 500 stored submissions, and 10 monthly payment submissions. Starter forms and signed documents carry Jotform branding, and raising the plan limits requires an upgrade. Bronze costs $39 a month; subscriptions are available monthly or yearly and renew automatically unless canceled. Jotform says it uses Google Cloud and AWS and complies with GDPR and CCPA. HIPAA features are available on Gold and Enterprise, while Enterprise is the only multiuser plan and includes enhanced security, custom domains, and SSO.
