In their own words

AroFlo

AroFlo is cloud-based job management software for tradespeople, builders and service professionals. It covers quoting, scheduling, dispatching, invoicing and compliance, alongside job costing, purchase orders, supplier catalogues, project management, inventory, timesheets and reporting. Field staff can create quotes on-site, complete safety forms, raise invoices and take payments. The AroFlo Field app runs on iOS and Android, and the software is also available through a web browser. Full use requires an internet connection, although Field can create tasks, record labour and materials, and update expenses offline. Listed accounting connections include Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks and Reckon; Stripe is listed for payments. Standard plan inclusions include AroConnect and access to more than 600 connected suppliers. AroFlo Lightning is described as an AI layer with Cooper and agents for job preparation, technician training, documentation and customer communication. Pricing is $80 a month, with a minimum of three users; the listed price decreases as user licences increase.

Werx

Werx is contractor management software for trade contractors, covering work from estimates through final payment. Users can create itemized or proposal estimates for clients to approve online, manage AIA-style G702/G703 pay applications, schedules of values and retainage, and track budget-to-actual costs and profitability by cost code. It also supports time-and-material invoicing with labor and material tracking. Werx syncs in both directions with QuickBooks Online on every plan; QuickBooks Desktop is not supported. Customers can pay invoices by credit card or ACH through Stripe. The iOS and Android Field App supports time tracking, Extra Work Authorizations and customer signatures; a full mobile version is described as coming soon. Werx is available on the web, iOS and Android, and is aimed at small-to-midsized contractors, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, landscaping and remodeling businesses. Month-to-month plans cost $49.00 per month for 10 active projects, $89.00 for 20, or $119.00 for unlimited active projects. Inactive projects do not count toward the limit. There is no free plan, but a 14-day trial requires no credit card.
