In their own words
Auditus
Auditus is audit, inspection, and checklist software for businesses that need to carry out checks and follow up on findings. Teams can build mobile-friendly forms with a drag-and-drop template builder or adapt paper checklists and spreadsheets. Inspections can be completed online or offline on iOS, Android, and Windows smartphones and tablets. Forms support annotated photos, notes, digital signatures, guidance notes, and question tags. Users can assign or reallocate actions, attach photographic evidence, and set triggers for automatic notifications. A dashboard gives real-time views of inspection frequency, performance, compliance issues, and action status. Named integrations include Excel, Google Sheets, Power BI, Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox; APIs are also available. Auditus says stored information is encrypted and it follows UK data protection legislation. Premium costs £12.99 per month and includes 1,500 audits or inspections per year, 10 templates, PDF export, and support 9am–5pm Monday to Friday. A 30-day trial is offered. Audit templates can only be created online, though audits can be performed in the mobile app.
BasinCheck
BasinCheck helps industrial contractors run audits, job safety analyses, inspections, and corrective actions. Its Android and iOS mobile app supports offline audits and syncs records when connectivity returns; the service is also available on the web. Failed checklist items can create assigned issues with overdue alerts. The JSA builder covers hazard identification, risk scoring, controls, and PPE tracking, while hot work permits use pass/fail checklists and photo evidence. BasinCheck generates OSHA Forms 300 and 300A, and says it can generate Form 301 from incident data. Customers can customize templates, workflows, and notifications; the company offers free digitization of up to five existing forms and a 30-minute kickoff call. Stated controls include encryption in transit, role-based access, audit logging, and tenant data isolation. BasinCheck supports record exports and says safety records remain customer data.
