Overview

Teams can find niche influencers, see the websites they write for and their social profiles, then add prospects to a link-building CRM. Multiple campaigns, competitor link research, imported links, task assignment, and results reporting extend the workflow from discovery into coordination. Tracking covers natural as well as paid links, useful for teams overseeing both kinds of placements.

Authoritas connects with Google Search Console, Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Lighthouse API, Majestic, and OpenAI GPT-3 API. Its SEO data database covers more than 125 million commercial keywords across 50 countries, with backlink data supplied by Majestic. This broader data environment is relevant to teams already using those services, though it may be more than a buyer needs for simple prospect tracking.

Key features

Prospect discovery and campaign workflows

Connecting influencer and publisher research to a CRM gives teams a place to carry prospects into active campaigns. Multiple campaigns, competitor research, link imports, and task assignment support shared work rather than just one-off contact searches. The workflow is a stronger fit for teams coordinating ongoing outreach than for individuals who need only a basic list of sites.

Monitoring and integrations

Tracking natural and paid links makes the product relevant after outreach, not just during prospecting. API access and integrations with analytics, search, backlink, and AI services can fit into a broader SEO operation. The value of that breadth depends on whether a team will use those connections; buyers focused narrowly on outreach may prefer a more specialised tool.

Pricing

Authoritas uses a freemium model, with paid plans from £99/mo. The free SEO plan has two domains, 1,000 keyword rank credits per month, and one user. It must be accessed at least once every 30 days to remain active, so it is better for regular, small-scale use than an occasional workspace that may go dormant.

Plan	Price	Included limits
Free	Free	2 domains; 1,000 keyword rank credits/month; 1 user
Essential	99.00 GBP per month, billed per month	5 domains; 15,000 keyword rank credits; 1 user
Expert	459.00 GBP per month, billed per month	35 domains; 100,000 keyword rank credits; 5 users
Business	679.00 GBP per month, billed per month	75 domains; 300,000 keyword rank credits; 1 user

Essential is the paid starting point for a small operation that can work with one seat and five domains. Expert raises both domain and credit capacity and includes five users, making it the clearest fit for a team that needs collaboration. Business adds the largest domain and credit allowances, but its one-user limit is a notable mismatch for a multi-person operation despite the plan's scale. The free and Essential tiers also keep teams to one user, so growing collaboration needs can push buyers toward Expert.

A free trial is offered. The stated pricing model is freemium, but the listed paid plans are billed monthly; compare the domain, credit, and seat ceilings against expected campaign scale before committing.

Platforms

Authoritas Link Building is available on the web and through an API. That combination suits browser-based campaign work as well as teams that need programmatic access.

Who it's for

Authoritas says it works with SEO teams at leading brands and ecommerce sites, and identifies large ecommerce, multi-location, and multinational brands as a fit for large-scale projects. Its domain and credit tiers reinforce that positioning. Smaller teams can use the free plan to start, but its one-user limit and monthly activity requirement constrain it as a shared or occasional-use system.

Pros and cons

Pro: Prospect discovery, campaign tasks, competitor research, and link monitoring share one workflow, reducing the need to separate research from campaign coordination.
Pro: The higher plans allow many domains and keyword rank credits, suiting larger SEO programmes.
Con: Free and Essential each allow only one user, limiting team collaboration at the lower end.
Con: Business permits 75 domains and 300,000 credits but only one user, a poor fit if a large programme needs several people working in the platform.
Con: Keeping the free plan active requires a login at least every 30 days, which makes it less suitable for intermittent projects.

Alternatives

For a broader shortlist, browse Link Building Software or SEO tools.

LinkAssistant is worth considering if desktop operating-system support across Linux, macOS, and Windows matters; its free plan includes prospect search methods, project saving, and reports.
BacklinkManager is another freemium web option for buyers comparing link-building tools.
GuestPostCRM may suit teams prioritising guest-post credits and paid user seats; its Starter plan includes 12,000 GPC Credits and three users for 20.00 USD per month.
Linkody is a lower-cost alternative for narrower backlink monitoring: Webmaster is 13.90 USD per month for two websites, 500 monitored links, and one user.
MentionAgent is a paid alternative for teams seeking outreach email capacity; its Starter plan is 99.00 USD per month and includes one site, one sending inbox, and up to 1,200 outreach emails per month.
Respona is relevant if buying placements is the priority, with per-placement pricing rather than a monthly platform plan.
ColdSEO offers a free plan with one connected inbox, 50 prospect credits and 100 email sends per month, suited to a more limited outreach setup.
JustReachOut is a paid web option for journalist search and PR pitching, with a Starter Outreach plan at 147.00 USD per month.

Verdict

Choose Authoritas Link Building if your SEO or PR team needs prospect discovery, campaign coordination, and natural- and paid-link tracking across multiple websites. Its breadth and higher-tier capacity are the main reasons to choose it. Look elsewhere if you need several users on an entry-level plan, or if your campaign is small enough that the monthly paid starting point and platform breadth are hard to justify.
