Basis AI Scribe
Basis AI Scribe captures patient encounters and drafts clinical notes for clinician review and approval. Before a visit, it brings the visit reason, relevant chart context, and recent history into one view. Clinicians can compare a draft with its source transcript, edit it, and approve the note before it moves to the chart. Basis processes audio, transcripts, and drafts on hardware controlled by the practice; local capture and drafting can continue when the internet connection is interrupted. Basis Desktop runs on supported Mac or Windows computers and uses the computer microphone. Basis Mobile captures visits on supported phones, tablets, or watches, independently or with Audio Beacons. Listed integrations include Epic, athenahealth, Oracle Health, Canvas Medical, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, and Tebra. Basis says the clinical app has no account, login, analytics, or advertising code, and that it does not send visit audio or draft notes to a vendor. Its plan is listed as a free download, while pricing is on request.
OneAdvanced Scribe
OneAdvanced Scribe is a web-based clinical note tool for primary care. It captures GP consultations through a computer microphone or VOIP telephone line, covering in-person, telephone and video appointments. Its AI turns the conversation into structured, editable notes, extracting symptoms, medications and plans for clinician review and sign-off. Scribe integrates with Online GP Consultation (Patchs), and reviewed notes can be sent to an EPR through one-click synchronisation. Without a Patchs licence, clinicians can copy notes manually into a chosen EPR. Vision 3 integration is described as coming soon. The product is identified as a Class I medical device. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, raw audio is deleted after the summary and transcript reach the EPR, and a time-stamped audit log preserves the unedited transcript and clinician edits. OneAdvanced says it may save up to three minutes per consultation. Pricing is on request.
