Benable
Benable is a free service for collecting and sharing recommendations in lists, with tools that let creators earn commissions when people shop through eligible links. Lists can cover products, restaurants, travel, self-care, local services, and other items or experiences. Benable says it automatically adds custom affiliate links to eligible recommendations across more than 35,000 partner sites, and creators keep the full commission. It describes itself as a creator app and says no minimum follower count is required. Recommendations can appear in feeds and across search engines, and the service connects creators with brands for PR and gifted collaborations. Benable is available on the web, iOS, and Android. The iPhone app supports public or private lists, sharing across platforms, personalized feeds, notifications, brand commissions, and an optional Benable Keyboard. The maker says the keyboard handles links entered in Benable features and does not log, store, or transmit text typed in other apps. The operator is Happy Ventures Public Benefit Corporation, headquartered in the Washington, D.C. area.
Pinterest Shopping
Pinterest Shopping gives merchants a way to display products through Product Pins, which can show details such as price and availability and send shoppers to a retailer’s website. Merchants can upload catalogs to make Pins in volume, group products, and create shopping ads. Product Pins can also circulate organically on Pinterest or be featured on a merchant profile through a public board. Any business account can tag products and create Product Pins, but ads and enhanced distribution require merchant review. Checkout takes place on the merchant’s app or website, not on Pinterest. Product uploads can use integrations including Adobe Commerce, Nuvemshop, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Shopify, VTEX, and WooCommerce. Catalog feeds can be TSV, CSV, XML using RSS 2.0 or ATOM 1.0, or Google Sheets; a retail catalog can contain up to 20 million products. Catalog setup requires a business account, a claimed website, the Pinterest tag, and a site that meets merchant guidelines. Product listings are free; campaigns are paid. Pinterest Shopping is available on Android, iOS, web, and API.
