BitPay
BitPay provides businesses with tools to accept cryptocurrency payments and send cryptocurrency payouts. Merchants can take payments online, in stores, and through email billing, with tools for ecommerce, donations, and retail. It lists integrations and plugins for Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, and other ecommerce platforms. Developers can integrate through BitPay REST APIs and SDKs, or official libraries for Java, Node, PHP, C#, and Python. Customer cryptocurrency payments are converted to local currency, and bank settlement is initiated the next business day; businesses can settle in fiat, cryptocurrency, or a mix of both. Merchant processing fees depend on cumulative monthly transaction volume: 2% + 25¢* below $500,000 USD, 1.5% + 25¢* from $500,000 to $999,999 USD, and 1% + 25¢* at $1,000,000 USD or more. BitPay also offers a free wallet app for mobile and desktop. Its self-custody wallet supports buying, selling, swapping, and storing cryptocurrency, buying gift cards, and paying bills. BitPay was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, United States. Bill Pay is available only to US residents.
Profituity
Profituity provides ACH payment processing, compliance, and audit-readiness services for merchants, ISVs, merchant service providers, financial institutions, and third-party processors. Profituity Cloud shows real-time ACH program status and updates with Nacha rule changes. The company says documentation is generated continuously during normal operations for exam readiness, and describes itself as a Nacha Preferred Partner and SOC 2 Type II certified ACH processor. The Platform Portal includes Dashboard, Audit+, Compliance+, Configuration, CRM, Onboard+, Payments, Processing, Recovery, Risk, and Sales modules. Its API exposes nearly all website features for customer applications, with sandbox credentials for testing; HTTPS is required to protect credentials and tokens. Supported capabilities include recurring ACH payments, ACH credits, same-day ACH, and webhooks. Built-in RTO Pro integration requires approval and a site key. The RTO Pro ACH integration plan costs $10 a month, plus 25¢ per transaction, $1.95 per return, and $15 per unauthorized return.
