In their own words
Blockhammer
Blockhammer is a free voxel editor for building scenes from cubic blocks, available for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Its modeling tools include layers, named objects, precise position and size controls, reversible effects, and undo. Painting works on block faces at sixteen times the blocks’ resolution and supports text, images, glass, metal, and glowing paint. Blockhammer imports and exports MagicaVoxel .vox files, and exports .glb, .obj, Minecraft .schem, and image or animation formats. Export destinations named by the maker include Unity, Unreal, Godot, Blender, Minecraft, and Teardown. The maker reports rendering a 113-million-block scene and testing scenes beyond one billion blocks. The editor autosaves every minute and can recover work after a crash. Scenes and files remain on the user's machine, and no account is required. Crash reports may include errors, recent activity, and graphics hardware details; reporting can be disabled. Optional AI texture generation is off by default and uses the image API configured with the user's own key. The software is in active development, so features may change.
Solid Editor
Solid Editor is a voxel graphics editor for creating game-ready assets in the Solid Engine pipeline. Its scene uses Solid Engine’s path tracer to render lighting in real time while editing. Voxels can be edited directly in 3D with a brightly colored ball as the pointing device. A single Selection tool applies effects to selected voxels and previews them live. The editor is natively compatible with Solid Engine and requires 64-bit Windows 10 or newer or 64-bit Linux, with Nvidia graphics cards only. A GeForce GTX 1080 or better is recommended but not required. The optional Ball Pointer needs a webcam, while the editor also works without it. Windows and Linux v0.1.0 downloads are offered, with a warning that this early version may crash or glitch. MagicaVoxel import/export, animation, scene layers, and polygon model import are planned. The free editor has a one-time 10.00 USD Pro user plan.
