In their own words
Bluedot
Bluedot captures and transcribes online and in-person meetings, then creates summaries in more than 100 languages. It can record without a bot joining the call. Its built-in AI chat answers questions and finds insights across multiple meetings, while searchable transcripts and summaries can be shared by link, commented on, or clipped into highlights. Listed capture contexts include Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Slack huddles, phone calls, and in-person meetings. Capture is available through browser extensions, desktop apps, and mobile apps. Bluedot also lists integrations such as Google Calendar, Drive, HubSpot, Notion, Outlook, Salesforce, Slack, Zapier, and Zoom. The free plan includes five meetings over the account’s lifetime; recordings can still be viewed and shared afterward. Paid plans start at $14/user/mo billed annually, and a three-day trial is listed. The Basic plan limits each recording to one hour. Bluedot says it encrypts data in transit and at rest and does not use customer data to train AI models.
Geode
Geode records audio conversations, transcribes and summarizes them, and provides translation, with on-device processing by default. Recording, transcription, and translation can work offline; on Mac, on-device summaries can also run offline. Transcription supports 90+ languages alongside live translation. Its desktop app for macOS and Windows adds speaker separation, transcript review and editing, and higher-accuracy transcription. Geode can import audio and video files, including MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, MP4, and MOV, with a maximum length of three hours per file. It can be used alongside Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Slack, and Discord without meeting bots or direct integrations. One account works across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Android, and Windows, and recordings can move from mobile to desktop over local Wi-Fi. The free plan includes five hours of local transcription per month and ten local summaries per month on Mac. Pro is listed at $4.17 a year, billed annually at $49.99, or $8.99 /mo. A seven-day trial is available.
