Overview

The platform combines day-to-day operations such as appointments, classes, payments and staff management with marketing and client loyalty tools. An Explorer business listing comes with a subscription and gives prospective clients a way to find and book services. Multi-location support is included, making the platform relevant to businesses beyond a single studio.

Clients can use Achieve and staff can use Elevate; businesses can also launch custom-branded apps on Google Play and the App Store for Android and iOS. WellnessLiving was founded in Toronto in 2013 and is headquartered in Thornhill, Ontario.

Key features

Booking and payment operations: Class and appointment booking, online booking, POS, credit card processing and automated billing cover core studio workflows. That range may suit an operator consolidating systems, while Starter's one-staff limit makes it a narrow fit for a team.
Client paperwork: Forms can create intake documents, surveys, questionnaires and waivers, with signed documents stored on client profiles. This keeps client paperwork associated with records rather than treating digital waivers as a separate task.
Retention and marketing: Business adds rewards and loyalty, events scheduling, email and text marketing, and lead management. These capabilities are useful for studios actively managing follow-up and repeat visits, but they sit above Starter.
Virtual services: FitLIVE supports live virtual sessions, while FitVID offers customized on-demand video channels. These are relevant for businesses delivering services beyond in-person appointments.
Connections and access: Official integration partners include Google Reserve, ClassPass, Wellhub, Zoom, Zapier, GoHighLevel, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, QuickBooks, Brivo and Spivi. API access is not self-serve: an Account Executive must arrange approval and credentials.
Infrastructure and onboarding: WellnessLiving says it uses Amazon Web Services, strives for 99.9% uptime and follows PCI compliance protocols; it has also announced SOC 2 compliance for security, availability and confidentiality controls. Plans include free onboarding with a dedicated specialist, a kickoff call and two one-hour training sessions.

Pricing

Starter costs 62.00 USD per month, billed annually. It includes one staff member, class and appointment booking, the Achieve Client App, Elevate Staff App, POS and credit card processing, and free data migration. The single-seat cap makes it best for a solo operator who needs the core booking and payment stack, not a growing team.

Business is 35.00 USD per month, billed annually, with a stated $179/mo and a promotion of 80% savings for two months. It adds unlimited staff, rewards and loyalty, event scheduling, email and text marketing, and lead management. The listed annual-billing monthly price is lower than Starter's, but the separate stated $179/mo and limited-duration promotion make the billing terms worth checking before choosing a plan.

BusinessPro is 62.00 USD per month, billed annually, with a stated $314/mo and the same 80% savings for two months. It includes everything in Business plus a white-label Achieve Client App. It fits a business that values its own branded client app; otherwise, Business already covers the listed staffing and marketing expansion.

Enterprise has custom pricing and includes unlimited clients and staff, making it the listed option for organizations with larger capacity needs. Achieve Basic is free and includes no competitor ads, appointment and class booking, client reviews, rewards and loyalty, and digital signatures; it offers a lower-commitment way to provide client-facing booking and engagement, rather than the full operations scope of paid tiers. Achieve White Label costs 209.00 USD per month, billed monthly, and includes dedicated app-store downloads, custom branding, client registration, asset booking, event registration and push notifications. A free trial is offered.

Platforms

WellnessLiving supports Android, iOS and web. Custom-branded client apps can be launched on Google Play and the App Store for both mobile platforms.

Who it's for

Small studios can start with core booking and payment functions, while businesses with multiple locations can use the included multi-location support and higher-tier staffing and marketing tools. It is less compelling for an operator who needs a self-service API connection or whose priority is only a basic scheduling app rather than a broader business platform.

Pros and cons

Pro: Booking, payments, client forms, marketing and loyalty share one platform, which can reduce the need to coordinate separate tools.
Pro: Free onboarding includes specialist support and two one-hour training sessions, a practical advantage when migrating operations.
Pro: Achieve Basic offers booking, loyalty and digital signatures at no cost.
Con: Starter permits only one staff member, so a staffed studio must consider another tier.
Con: API access depends on approval and an Account Executive, limiting direct integration for teams expecting immediate credentials.
Con: The white-label Achieve app is a separate monthly purchase at 209.00 USD per month, billed monthly.

Alternatives

For a salon-focused option with a free entry point, Salonist offers a free Marketplace Listing capped at 50 appointments per month, as well as a 59.00 USD per month Essential plan. Orbis Salon is a paid alternative with a 4.99 GBP per month Lite plan for one staff member, one location and 30 bookings monthly, with a 50p booking service fee per booking. If the priority is a no-monthly-fee booking option, SalonSynq has a free plan with unlimited bookings for one user and manual payment logging, but no SalonSynq online payment. Tonso offers a free plan when the business passes booking fees to clients. For SMS-focused needs, Cojilio has a 9.99 CAD per month SMS Marketing ONLY plan with 250 SMS monthly. Next offers free booking, scheduling and app features, with unlimited SMS texts as an optional 5.00 USD per month plan. Salonipy has a 5.00 USD per month monthly plan with unlimited appointments, or a 30.00 USD per year yearly plan. SalonWings is another alternative.

Verdict

WellnessLiving is a strong fit for fitness and wellness businesses that want booking, payments, client engagement and staff operations together, with room to serve multiple locations. Its broad operating toolkit and included onboarding are the main reasons to choose it; look elsewhere if you need API access without an approval step, or want a simpler, narrowly focused booking service.
