In their own words
Boomerang
Boomerang helps users control email timing, follow-ups, and meeting scheduling. It can schedule message delivery, snooze messages, and remind users to follow up. Inbox Pause holds incoming messages until the user is ready and can be scheduled to activate automatically. Magic Live Calendar supports bookable schedules, suggested meeting times, free/busy sharing, and team scheduling. Team scheduling integrates with Zoom and Google Meet and supports multiple calendars. Respondable uses artificial intelligence to offer real-time guidance on email effectiveness and tone. Boomerang for Gmail is available as a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and Opera, with Android and iOS apps also listed. The Basic plan costs nothing and includes 10 message credits per month. Paid plans start at $4.98 a month billed annually, and a 30-day trial is listed. Boomerang says it stores message headers, not message bodies, to identify messages for sending or returning. Its Gmail product uses Google OAuth 2.0 and says it does not access passwords. Technical email support is available.
Mailmeteor
Mailmeteor runs personalized email campaigns and helps manage replies from Gmail, Outlook, and other tools. Mail merges can start from Gmail, Outlook, Excel, Google Sheets, or Google Docs. Campaign features include tracking, scheduling, templates, attachments, audience segmentation, unsubscribe management, and conditional follow-ups. Its AI assistant sorts emails, drafts replies in the user’s tone, and rewrites, improves, or shortens messages, but the assistant is currently available only for Gmail. Mailmeteor connects with Zapier and Google Sheets automations, and sent messages can be logged in Salesforce or HubSpot through a CRM BCC address. The free Hobby plan includes 500 emails per month. Paid plans start at $5.99 per user per month, with listed daily and monthly limits by tier. Mailmeteor says it requests only essential sending permissions and keeps customer data in the Google Spreadsheet by design.
