In their own words
Booqable
Booqable is cloud-based rental software for managing orders, inventory, quotes, contracts, invoices, and real-time availability. It includes a ready-made booking page and website integrations compatible with WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, Lovable, and more. Its mobile point-of-sale app for iOS and Android supports orders, payments, signatures, and barcode scanning, though it does not include every browser feature: full setup, configuration, reporting, and account management require a desktop browser. Integrations include payment services such as Stripe, PayPal, Square, Adyen, Mercado Pago, Teya, and Mollie, as well as tools including Zapier, Xero, Mailchimp, Weglot, and Google Analytics 4. Booqable provides a RESTful JSON API, which is in beta and may change in ways that are not backwards-compatible. The paid service has a 14-day trial and no free plan. Start costs $29 a month billed yearly, or $35 a month; Grow and Scale cost 69.00 USD and $149 a month billed yearly, respectively.
Flex
Flex brings rental inventory, sales, production operations, warehouse workflows, crew scheduling, billing, and payments into one platform. A signed quote reserves equipment for its date range and can lead to a warehouse pick list, barcode or RFID scans, and a truck manifest. Flex can generate invoices automatically and accept credit card or ACH payments. It includes quote building, rental contracts, delivery scheduling, and return tracking, but not online booking. The integration list includes QuickBooks, PayEngine, DocuSign, HubSpot, Salesforce, Pro Subrental Marketplace, CrewDriver, Google Calendar, Zapier, and a REST API; its HubSpot CRM integration is in open beta. Flex runs in supported browsers on Windows, Mac, and Linux, with Google Chrome recommended, and the Flex5 app is available for Apple and Android devices. The Flex plan costs $510 a month and includes unlimited users. There is no free plan, but a 30-day trial is available. Flex says it is suited to businesses with 500 or more assets, multiple jobs, or multi-user and multi-location operations.
