Overview

The platform combines lead management with FDD delivery, franchisee training, store audits, and royalty collection. That makes it a natural fit for operators who want prospect and franchisee workflows managed together rather than pieced across separate systems. Consultants and developers can also consider it, while the Agency plan is aimed at reselling a white-label service to clients.

Its value depends on how much of that range a team will use. A small franchisor can start without paying, but one user, five monthly FDD sends, and 1 GB of document storage make the free tier a test of the workflow rather than a roomy operating plan.

Key features

Leads and disclosure

The CRM handles CSV imports, activity tracking, pipeline stages, follow-ups, and team assignment. Lead routing and location records help connect development activity with the franchise network. Electronic FDD delivery adds DocuSeal e-signatures, FTC 14-day tracking, timestamped audit trails, and reminders. Keeping these steps alongside lead activity should suit teams that need to coordinate prospect follow-up with disclosure processes.

Operations and training

Mobile-friendly store visit forms include weighted scoring and corrective actions, while territory mapping tools support network planning. The LMS covers courses, quizzes, certifications, and progress tracking for franchisees. These functions extend the platform beyond sales administration into ongoing operating and training routines, though their usefulness will depend on a franchisor wanting those workflows in the same system.

Royalties and access

The franchisee portal supports royalty invoicing and ACH collection; Business adds Square POS integration. Secure document storage and granular role permissions address access to leads, documents, and franchise data. Together, these tools make the platform relevant to teams handling both franchisee-facing transactions and internal records.

Pricing

FranchiseLauncher has a free plan and paid plans starting at $99/mo in its pricing summary, alongside a 30-day trial. The plan prices are billed monthly:

Plan	Price	What it includes	Best fit
Free	0.00 USD per free	1 user, 5 FDD sends/month, 1 GB document vault	A solo user evaluating a small volume of disclosure activity.
Pro	49.00 USD per month	Up to 5 users, unlimited FDD sends, email and SMS, franchisee portal, 10 GB document vault	A small team that needs more seats and unrestricted FDD sending, but not the Business plan's listed royalty management or analytics.
Business	99.00 USD per month	10 users, lead assignment, royalty management, advanced analytics, Square POS integration, 15 GB vault	A growing operation that needs royalty tools and POS integration, with a defined ten-user ceiling.
Enterprise	199.00 USD per month	Unlimited users, white label and custom domain, priority support, custom onboarding, 50 GB vault	A larger franchisor needing white-label branding, onboarding support, or more storage; the Enterprise listing includes a 30-day free trial.
Agency	299.00 USD per month	Unlimited users, unlimited white-label sub-accounts, multi-tenant dashboard, client billing management, 100 GB vault, dedicated account manager	Consultants or developers managing multiple client brands and billing.

Pro is the lowest paid tier, but it gives up the Business plan's listed lead assignment, royalty management, advanced analytics, and Square integration. Business raises the price to $99.00 USD per month for those capabilities and five additional users. Enterprise adds unlimited users, branding, and support, while Agency costs more for multi-client administration and the largest vault. The free plan's send and storage caps are the clearest constraints for a team expecting regular disclosure work.

Platforms

FranchiseLauncher is available on the web and is described as cloud-based. Mobile-friendly store visit forms are useful for field visits, but the platform listing is web.

Who it's for

Franchisors and franchise development teams are the core audience, particularly those that want lead tracking, FDD processes, franchisee training, and operating workflows in one place. Franchise consultants and developers may find the Agency tier more appropriate when they need white-label sub-accounts, a multi-tenant dashboard, and client billing. A solo operator with only occasional FDD sends can begin on Free; teams needing broader capacity should compare the paid tiers against their seat, storage, and workflow requirements.

Pros and cons

Pros

Connects CRM and FDD workflows, including e-signatures, 14-day tracking, audit trails, and reminders.
Combines franchisee training, store audits, corrective actions, royalty invoicing, and ACH collection with prospect management.
Higher tiers scale from a ten-user Business plan to unlimited users, with white-label and multi-client options.
Role permissions and secure document storage support controlled access to franchise records.

Cons

The free plan's single seat, five monthly FDD sends, and 1 GB vault restrict it to very small-scale use.
Pro supports up to five users but does not include the Business tier's listed royalty management, advanced analytics, or Square POS integration.
Business is capped at 10 users, so a larger team must move to Enterprise or Agency.
The Agency tier's multi-tenant and client-billing features are specialized; teams managing one franchise network may not need to pay for them.

Alternatives

For a wider comparison, see Franchise CRM Software.

FranChat is a freemium web and API option for browsing franchises and managing a brand profile; its free listing has no leads, so choose it when discovery and brand responses matter more than internal franchise operations. FRM Solutions offers a paid, cross-platform enterprise option for franchise needs, with custom enterprise solutions, making it a candidate when a tailored enterprise arrangement is the priority. FranConnect is a paid option across desktop, mobile, web, and API platforms; its pricing depends on modules, integrations, migration, and rollout, so consider it when those scope factors need to shape a quote.

FranchiZeManager is a paid cross-platform option whose Pro fee varies by location, modules, and logins; consider it when those dimensions are central to the buying decision. Franchora is a paid web and mobile alternative. FranDash is another paid web and mobile option. FranTools has a free plan and trial, with paid plans including Start Up and Team Up at custom pricing; consider it when those terms suit the evaluation. Azura is a paid web and mobile alternative with a low set-up fee, flexible contracts, and a monthly subscription that includes system updates.

Verdict

FranchiseLauncher is a strong fit for franchisors that want sales, disclosure, franchisee training, and network operations tied together, and for agencies that need white-label client management. Choose it for that breadth and its clear progression from a constrained free tier to multi-user plans. Look elsewhere if the free caps are too tight and the paid seat or feature tiers do not match your needs, or if your priority is a different enterprise or client-management arrangement.
