In their own words
Breeze
Breeze is an open-source remote monitoring and management platform with an AI operator for investigating, fixing and documenting fleet issues. Its configurable four-tier risk engine can allow routine actions automatically, hold sensitive ones for approval and block others. The platform includes device management, remote access, patching, scripts, monitoring, automation, tickets, quotes, billing and invoicing. The agent is a single Go binary for Linux, macOS and Windows. Its MCP server connects fleet tools to clients including Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Windsurf and ChatGPT. Integration categories include communications, PSA or ticketing, and monitoring; documentation names Slack and Teams. Security controls listed include MFA, role-based and scoped access, hashed API keys and tokens, and AES-256-GCM encryption for secrets at rest. Breeze says its SOC 2 examination is in progress and does not call the product SOC 2 compliant before a report is issued. The self-hosted Community plan is free with unlimited devices. Cloud Starter costs $20 a year for up to 3 devices; Cloud costs $99 a month for up to 250 devices. Breeze is built by LanternOps, LLC.
Pulseway
Pulseway is a remote management platform for workstations, servers and network devices, with solutions presented for MSPs, IT departments and education organizations. Monitoring and alerts cover Windows, Mac, Linux, network devices and IoT. Remote control includes unlimited sessions and multi-screen support; scripting, auto-remediation and operating-system and third-party application patching are also listed. The patch management page names more than 300 out-of-the-box application titles. Integrations include Autotask, Zendesk, PagerDuty, Webroot, Slack, IT Glue, Warranty Master and ConnectWise Manage. Autotask and Zendesk can create tickets for notifications meeting configured priority criteria. Pulseway describes a hybrid deployment model and lists agents for Windows, Linux, macOS and BSD, with minimum operating system requirements for supported agents. Agents and client software require outbound HTTPS on TCP 443 and no inbound ports. The company says connections and messages use AES 256-bit encryption, and two-factor authentication is mandatory. Pricing is available on request; monthly, annual and three-year options, volume discounts and add-ons are listed, along with a one-time advanced onboarding fee of €149.
