In their own words

Briostack

Briostack is business management software for pest control and lawn care companies. Its operations tools cover scheduling, appointment automation, route optimization, technician tracking, and customer SMS notifications. CRM features include customer and lead dashboards, reminders, workflows, quotes, and invoices. Sales tools add territory assignments, bids, proposals, pricing calculations, and commission management. The Brio Tech app lets field technicians view customer and service information, manage routes, complete jobs, track chemical usage, and work without data connectivity. Technicians can also create annotated pest control diagrams using high-resolution satellite images and attach them to bids. Briostack is web-based, with iOS and Android options for field use, and integrates with QuickBooks Online. Its API free tier is included with a subscription and allows 350 requests per month, 60 requests per minute, and unlimited API keys. The paid subscription has no listed price; prospective customers are directed to request a demo, and user limits vary. Each user license includes up to 20 GB of storage, with additional storage charged separately. Listed additional charges are $.04 per text and $.04 per minute for calls.

Fieldwork

Fieldwork is field service management software for residential and commercial service businesses, including pest control, lawn care, and pool service. Its visual calendar helps teams book appointments, coordinate technicians, and manage routes. Customer records sit in its CRM, and a portal gives customers access to invoices, contracts, and work history. Android and iOS apps support field work orders and can operate offline. Pest-control teams can scan device barcodes and record station condition, captures, bait condition, and other data. Chemical records can include EPA registration numbers, active ingredients, dilution rates, application methods, and targeted areas; they are kept online for three years. The software can generate pesticide usage logs required by California and New York. Plans are billed per field user, with office staff free. Startup costs $59 per month per field user and includes QuickBooks integration; Pro adds Zapier and API access. A 14-day trial includes full access, training, and support, with no credit card required. Fieldwork is based in Niles, Illinois.
