In their own words
Weava Highlighter
Weava Highlighter helps users collect research from websites and PDFs through highlights, annotations, and organized folders. Highlights can be made on websites, online PDFs, local PDFs, and PDFs uploaded to Weava. Users can attach notes without a stated length limit, then search highlights and filter them by color in the dashboard. The dashboard also supports folders and sub-folders, citation creation, and exports to Microsoft Word, Excel, CSV, or TXT. Weava is offered as a Chrome extension; its resources also describe use with recent Microsoft Edge versions that support Chrome extensions. An iOS app provides a mobile option. Premium shared folders let users invite collaborators by email to view and work with highlights and notes. The Free plan costs nothing and includes unlimited highlights and notes, sync across unlimited devices, 100 MB of storage, and basic email support. Premium costs $3.99 a month and adds unlimited storage, customizable highlight colors, unlimited sub-folders, collaboration, and prioritized support. Weava describes its audience as students and researchers and says it supports more than 700,000 users worldwide.
