In their own words
Cardina
Cardina gives support and sales teams a way to view a customer’s screen during a phone call or live chat, then guide the customer with on-screen drawing or by sharing the agent’s screen. With the customer’s permission, agents can also scroll, click and type on the customer’s behalf. Optional session recordings can be replayed for review. Passwords are blocked automatically, and customers can block selected page elements so that information does not pass through Cardina’s servers. Customers can revoke viewing permission at any time, while an audit log shows agent actions. Cardina lists integrations with Intercom, Zendesk, Salesforce, Sentry and Slack. It supports web use across devices and names Safari, Firefox, Chrome and Edge, along with React, Vue, Angular, Iframe, Canvas and Shadow DOM compatibility. The free plan is a 14-day trial; Pro costs $69 a month per seat, billed monthly or annually. An additional replay sessions add-on costs $89 a month.
Surfly
Surfly adds real-time co-browsing to websites, platforms, and apps, letting participants collaborate in a shared web session. Participants join through a browser without installing plugins or downloading software. The collaboration tools include video calls, e-signatures, annotations, control switching, and masking for fields or page elements. Surfly lists integrations with Salesforce, Zendesk, Cisco Finesse, NICE CXone, and Amazon Connect, plus JavaScript and REST APIs, an embed API, and webhooks. Deployment options include public cloud, private cloud, and on-premise, with on-premise sessions running on the customer's infrastructure. Surfly says it uses TLS 1.3 and SHA-256 encryption in transit and does not store personal or session data on disk. It describes itself as AICPA SOC compliant, ISO/IEC 27001 certified, and HIPAA compliant. A free plan allows five sessions per month; paid plans have unlimited sessions. A 14-day trial is available, but starting it involves a demo and help from Surfly's team. Social media sites including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube are restricted on the free plan and trial.
