In their own words
Cartwheel
Cartwheel is delivery management software for restaurant chains and catering brands. It coordinates in-house drivers and third-party delivery providers, with automated routing and live delivery tracking. Operators can set dispatch rules for time of day, order size, driver availability, per-driver order limits, and delivery areas. Catering tools include scheduled dispatch, pre-delivery checklists, photo or signature proof, branded tracking, and vehicle-type routing. The driver app includes route planning, order checklists, ID verification, and proof of delivery. Cartwheel says one connection reaches Uber Direct, DoorDash Drive, Grubhub, Skipcart, and more than 50 local fleets; named integrations include Toast, PAR, Olo, Qu, ChowNow, and ezCater. Store and Dispatch tools are available on iOS and Android, alongside the web platform. Cartwheel says it operates in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Australia. The listed Cartwheel plan is $99 a month, billed monthly, for 400 deliveries, then $0.25 per order.
Catcher
Catcher is a B2B last-mile marketplace that connects restaurants and other businesses with delivery drivers and fleets. It presents itself as a delivery partner for independent restaurants, chains, and franchises, with coverage across more than 350 cities in Spain and Portugal. Restaurants and drivers set their own terms, and the app alerts drivers when a delivery matches their price range. After a match, customers receive a message to track the order and see its location. Catcher offers Android, iOS, web, and API access, plus native integrations with management, loyalty, and order-aggregator systems that synchronize orders, menus, promotions, and customers in real time. Its API uses REST principles and OAuth 2.0; credentials must be requested from Catcher, and requests need an API key. The published Spain rates exclude VAT: merchants pay €0.99 per order for 0–500 monthly orders per location or €0.79 per order above 500, plus a €490, paid once implementation fee. Drivers pay €0.29, paid once per accepted marketplace order.
