In their own words
CentralPlanner
CentralPlanner is an online reservation book for businesses managing bookings and guest information. Reservations can create guest contacts automatically, building a history of visits. The system handles rooms, tables, seating capacity, and suggested table combinations. Businesses can accept online reservations through a form embedded on a website or Facebook page. From Premium, the system can check capacity and accept or reject online requests automatically, with manual review also available. Professional adds capacity planning, attachments, reminder emails, and post-visit thank-you or review emails; it includes 5GB for attached PDFs and images. Reservations are available in a browser on internet-connected devices, and free apps are offered for iOS and Android. An API key lets an external application write to an account. Starter is free forever and allows 50 reservations per month. Paid prices are listed as €19.90/mo for Basis, €34.90/mo for Premium, and €59.90/mo for Professional, each plus VAT. CentralPlanner is a product of Cologne-based 42he GmbH.
Resos
Resos is commission-free reservation and table-management software for restaurants, cafés, bars and pubs. Restaurants can add a booking link or widget to a website and social media without coding, while guests can book through Google Search, Maps or Assistant with availability synced automatically. A visual planner displays tables and occupancy, and automatic customer profiles support tailored service. Booking reminders can go out by SMS and email. Integrations named by Resos include Stripe, Trustpilot and Facebook; Zapier can support custom connections, and a developer API is available. Resos says guest data is stored on an encrypted platform, connections use SSL, and the service is GDPR-compliant. Guest and booking data can be exported to CSV on demand. The free plan includes 25 bookings per month and personal support, but excludes add-ons. Paid plans start at €23/mo (annual), and the pricing page lists a 90-day money-back guarantee on paid plans. Reserve with Google is a paid add-on for paid subscribers, with availability dependent on country.
