In their own words

Chatbase

Chatbase provides customer-facing AI agents for support, sales, and product guidance across chat, email, and voice. Teams can build, test, deploy, and improve agents without code. Agents can use help centers, files, links, Q&As, Notion pages, tickets, and product data; plain-language procedures and actions let them look up information or make changes in connected systems. Testing tools include customer-scenario simulations, saved regression tests, and conversation traces. Listed integrations include Salesforce, Zendesk, Freshdesk, Gorgias, Help Scout, HubSpot, Intercom, Shopify, Slack, Zapier, and Twilio. Chatbase says customer data is encrypted in transit and at rest, is not used to train models, and is accessible only to the customer's AI agent. The Free plan includes 50 message credits per month and one member, but agents are deleted after 14 days of inactivity. Hobby costs $40 a month for 700 credits; Standard costs $150 a month for 4,000 credits; Pro costs $500 a month for 15,000 credits. Hobby, Standard, and Pro have a 7-day trial. Developer tools include a JavaScript embed, REST API, CLI, and Android and iOS SDKs.

Microsoft Bot Framework

Microsoft Bot Framework and Azure AI Bot Service provide tools to build, test, deploy and manage intelligent bots. The modular SDK includes tools and templates for bots that can use speech, understand natural language and handle questions and answers. Development tools work with a Connector service for messages and events, alongside Azure deployment and channel configuration. Client libraries are available for C#, JavaScript, Python and Java. Bots can connect to channels such as Microsoft Teams, Facebook and Slack, using Azure AI Bot Service channels or channel adapters; a visual flow builder, knowledge-base answers and human handoff are listed capabilities. The Free plan costs nothing and includes unlimited standard-channel messages and 10,000 premium-channel messages per month. S1 includes unlimited standard-channel messages, with no price listed. Microsoft says the SDK is no longer maintained and recommends the Microsoft 365 Agents SDK for new agent development. It also says Bot Framework SDK support tickets will no longer be serviced as of December 31, 2025.
