In their own words
Chief
Chief is a web platform that connects business tools and knowledge to prepare work for B2B sales and customer success teams to review and approve. Users describe an assignment in their own words; Chief determines when it should run, what information to use, who to involve and which actions to prepare. Connected tools remain unchanged until approval. The platform lists Action Inbox, Assignments, Chief Chat, Assistant, Reports, Memory, Admin Tools and Oversight. Pro adds deal context and actions, alignment of owners and commitments, visibility into missing stakeholders and weak commitments, and playbooks across deals. Popular integrations include Google Drive, Google Workspace, HubSpot and Salesforce; Enterprise supports custom integrations. Chief says its AI uses the Anthropic Claude API. Its privacy notice says relevant operational data and prompts are sent to Anthropic, which is contractually prohibited from training on that data. Pro costs $150 USD per user per month; the pricing note says plans start from $1,250/mo. Enterprise pricing is custom.
Next Quarter
Next Quarter is an applied AI platform for B2B revenue teams in Sales, Strategic Accounts, Marketing, and Revenue Operations. Its Q-Pilot combines internal account context with external market signals to help teams prioritize opportunities, engage stakeholders, and select next actions. Shared context can include CRM records, documents, meeting notes, product usage, company news, filings, leadership changes, hiring, intent, and technology signals. Recommendations present a proposed move with a stakeholder, an angle, and supporting evidence. Next Quarter lists five products: KAM Q, Sales Q, ABM Q, Events Q, and Fin Q. Workflows cover account research, opportunity discovery, stakeholder intelligence, meeting preparation, personalized outreach, sales playbooks, pitch decks, and strategic account planning. CRM data can include opportunities, contacts, products, account history, and deal stages. Depending on deployment, APIs and MCP connectivity are supported. Customer data is not used to train shared or third-party foundation models, and customer contexts are isolated by permissions. Pricing is on request, with no public per-seat list price.
