CoAction Software
CoAction Software is an EMR and practice management system for chiropractic practices, running on macOS and Windows. Its clinical and billing tools include SOAP notes, care plans, billing and tracking reports, HCFA bill batch processing, rebilling, and EOB payment reconciliation. Communications features support demographic-segmented email and text campaigns, reminders, and real-time two-way patient texting. Online scheduling provides separate portals for new and established patients, patient Google Calendar synchronization, and resource booking with visit-type limits per time slot. CoAction identifies Fortis as its exclusive credit-card processor and describes integrated merchant processing. The maker describes multiple daily cloud backups, at least 30 versions, and redundant offsite Amazon cloud storage, while stating that the software itself has no cloud option. The FAQ says backup data is encrypted and references HCFA and HIPAA HL7 guidance. There is no patient smartphone app or inventory module. Pricing is on request.
