In their own words
ChurchPlan
ChurchPlan combines giving, events, member records, education, liturgies, calendars, and communications in a church member app and admin portal. Churches can accept online and recurring donations, keep a searchable ledger, and issue tax receipts automatically. Event tools handle publication, registration, payments, QR tickets, and QR check-in. Member profiles can include family relationships, engagement details, and emergency or health information. Education features cover ministries, Sunday school, curriculum, attendance tracking, and parent follow-up. Essentials is free and includes unlimited members, online giving, tax receipts, a personalized mobile app, and donation links and QR. Engagement costs $99 a month, billed yearly at $1,188; Education costs $199 a month, billed yearly at $2,388. Enterprise also adds multi-church administration and API access. Stripe processes card payments; ChurchPlan says it does not retain full card credentials. The service states a 99.5% uptime SLA, breach notification within 72 hours, and a 90-day data export window after termination.
Subsplash Church App
Subsplash Church App provides churches with branded mobile apps for sharing ministry content and connecting members with church activities. Its native media player supports live streams and on-demand video, audio, and podcasts. Alongside sermons, members can use Bible reading plans, audio Bibles, scripture sharing, and scripture tagging. Group messaging keeps member conversations within the app, while other engagement tools include profiles, personalized media suggestions, push notifications, events, forms, and fill-in sermon notes. Volunteer tools let members accept or decline requests, set availability, and check pending requests. Subsplash also lists branded TV apps for Google TV, Fire TV, Roku, and Apple TV, plus church media use with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. A dedicated onboarding specialist helps teams build an app, add content, and publish it in app stores. Pricing varies by organization size, selected features, and usage limits, so churches are directed to sales for a quote. Subsplash Giving is listed at free, with card and ACH processing fees applying. Messaging traffic uses TLS/SSL, but end-to-end encryption is not available.
