In their own words
Claromentis
Claromentis offers software suites for organizational communications, operations, and employee learning. Its Enablement Hub combines knowledge management, AI search, e-learning, and workflow automation. The suites are aimed at franchises, complex organizations, charities, and nonprofits. The intranet supports native and custom integrations, including third-party tools, social channels, and Active Directory. Listed security features include two-factor authentication, single sign-on, IP-based access controls, granular permissions, and audit logs. Claromentis describes itself as HIPAA compliant and ISO 27001:2022 certified. Hosting options include SaaS and on-premise; the intranet also describes self-hosted deployments. The company says its AI draws on content within the hub, follows user permissions, and can be switched off by an administrator. Mobile access includes a free generic app, with custom branded native apps for iOS and Android also available. Pricing is personalized according to product, deployment, features, onboarding, training, and support. Franchise quotes depend on the number of locations, while charity pricing reflects product requirements and includes a charity discount.
FranchiseMS
FranchiseMS brings franchisor head-office and franchisee-unit operations into one system. Its core platform includes an operations manual, royalty management, communications, support, analytics and benchmarking, and legal and agreement management. Royalty calculations use recorded activity such as jobs, sales, takings, and card payments. Statements show how royalties were calculated; when a unit has multiple recorded views of the same revenue, the calculation uses the highest. Franchisees can connect Stripe for card payments and accounting software such as Xero to feed revenue into calculations. Stripe payments go directly to the franchisee's bank account, with a 0.29% platform fee deducted at payment. Optional modules cover development CRM, onboarding, audits, training, local marketing, AI services, territories, field operations, customer messaging, and certificates and equipment. Field operations supports scheduling, dispatch, GPS, photo and signature proof, offline capture, and a calendar feed. The core platform is £15 per location per month, plus a £25 monthly head-office fee; the example estimate includes one-time onboarding of £500. VAT is excluded, add-on modules cost extra, and more than 100 locations requires a tailored quote.
