In their own words
Codebeamer
Codebeamer is an application lifecycle management platform for teams coordinating requirements, product variants, testing, and regulatory compliance. It tracks requirements, epics, and user stories through the software engineering lifecycle, with traceability linking requirements to testing and release in a central work-item repository. Teams can configure processes and digital workflows, assess and document development risks, and manage test and quality work. Product line tools support variants for different markets. Agile planning includes a planner, Kanban, backlog, and release system; Codebeamer can also orchestrate CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins and Azure Pipelines. It connects with tools including IBM DOORS, Jira, GitHub, GitLab, and Microsoft Office, with REST and Swagger APIs for custom integrations and automation. Deployment is on premises or in PTC’s hosted Codebeamer+ environment. The paid product has pricing on request and a 30-day trial. Licensing varies by user roles and usage. On-premises purchases include Production, QA, and Development environments; Codebeamer+ includes Production and Non-production environments.
UserJot
UserJot brings feedback management and customer support tools together for web and API use. Teams can collect requests on feedback boards, publish a roadmap and changelog, and place a widget inside their product with feedback, updates, and live chat. Juno answers from a team’s docs and website, then passes unresolved conversations to the team in the same thread; forwarded support email shares an inbox with chats. Requests, votes, statuses, roadmap items, and changelog posts are connected, so teams can update voters when work ships. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT, and other MCP clients can connect, and the same actions are available through a REST API. Paid plans include Slack integration, though request creation is limited to admins and owners and notifications are read-only. The free plan is free and includes two boards and three admin roles. Starter costs $29 a month; Professional costs $59 a month. Live chat and Juno are in beta and not included in plan prices.
