In their own words
CodeGreen ITM
CodeGreen ITM helps fire protection and life safety contractors schedule inspections, capture field results, follow up on deficiencies and prepare reports. Its 15 inspection programs span fire and life safety work as well as water-based systems. Teams can combine multiple services completed during one visit into a single customer report. The mobile app stores inspections, photos and signatures on the device for later syncing when connectivity returns. Dispatchers get day, week and month views, time-off scheduling and technician filters by service qualification. Visual inspections can have separate frequencies, due dates, overdue tracking and billable visits. An optional AI-assisted tool reads panel point reports and proposes devices for review before saving. It runs on web, iOS and Android. There is no free plan; the listed starting price is $125/mo, with a 60-day trial. The Small shop plan includes the first technician, while Crew is priced for companies starting with seven or more technicians. The company is based in Madison, Connecticut.
Firebug EXT
Firebug EXT uses barcodes to identify safety equipment and record inspections. Routes and checklists guide inspectors, and every asset on a route must be inspected before the route can be closed. The system records inspection results with dates and times for safety managers, tracks upcoming and outstanding work across monthly, semi-annual, annual, and 5-, 6-, and 12-year schedules, and generates reports on results and compliance. It can record readings, settings, and calibration data for fire extinguishers, sprinkler systems, alarms, eyewash stations, exit signs, emergency lights, valves, range hoods, and other devices. Nine standard reports are available as PDF or Excel files. Inspection data can sync by Wi-Fi, cellular connection, or PC cradle. Firebug EXT runs on Android handheld devices and tablets; its brochure also lists most Windows, Android, or iPad tablets as supported. It can be installed on a single PC or workstation, run on an internal or web server, or hosted by General Data. The maker says it supports reporting and compliance procedures for OSHA, the Joint Commission, and other regulations. Pricing and demo access are available by request; no software price or trial terms are stated.
