Overview

Campaign combines a unified calendar for campaigns and activities with kanban boards that show what is in progress, waiting or done. This pairing helps teams coordinate schedules and spot stalled work without separating planning from execution. Multi-stage approvals and centrally held brand standards add useful guardrails when work crosses teams, outlets or agencies. The trade-off is that the compliance scan cannot guarantee a regulatory outcome, so it should support—not replace—marketer judgment and responsibility.

Key features

Planning and approvals

The calendar gives teams a shared view of campaign activity, while boards provide a status view of execution. Multi-stage approval workflows let the appropriate people sign off before a campaign ships. That structure is most valuable where several functions need to review work; a small team with a simple sign-off process may not need all of it.

Brand and checklist controls

Campaign keeps brand standards central to help outlets and agencies produce consistent work across locations. Its AI compliance scan checks a campaign against the customer's own checklist before launch, which can help teams catch issues earlier. Because the checklist reflects the customer's requirements and the gate does not guarantee regulatory compliance, teams still need suitable review and remain accountable for the final work.

Franchise coordination

Franchisees can run local marketing within shared guardrails using the calendar, approvals and compliance scanning. This gives central teams a way to structure local execution while preserving room for outlet-level activity. Campaign also shares an identity, data layer and control plane with the Cohiva suite, a relevant advantage for organizations choosing more than one Cohiva product.

Pricing

The Campaign plan costs 149.00 USD per month (billed from $149/mo) and includes campaign planning and approval workflows. Cohiva offers a free trial, and says its products require no credit card, can be started one product at a time and can be cancelled anytime. The price is a straightforward starting point for teams needing both planning and approvals, but seat counts, usage quotas, trial length and renewal terms are not provided. There is no free plan described, so teams looking for a no-cost ongoing option should consider other products.

Platforms

Campaign runs on the web. It is a fit for teams coordinating work through a browser-based product; no other platform is identified.

Who it's for

Campaign is aimed at marketing, brand and compliance teams in regulated or multi-location operations. Franchises can use it to coordinate local campaigns within common standards, while agencies and distributed outlets can benefit from shared brand controls and approval stages. It is less suitable for anyone expecting software to certify compliance or take responsibility for regulatory decisions.

Pros and cons

Pros: A unified calendar and status boards cover both upcoming activity and work in progress, waiting or done.
Pros: Multi-stage approvals and customer-defined checklist scanning provide practical review points before launch.
Pros: Central brand standards support consistency across locations, franchisees and agencies.
Cons: The AI scan does not guarantee regulatory outcomes; marketers retain final responsibility.
Cons: The $149.00 USD monthly starting plan may be more than needed by teams with basic coordination needs, and the stated plan does not establish per-seat or quota limits.

Alternatives

Marketing Resource Management Software is a useful category starting point for readers comparing a broader set of options. Choose Annum if a lower entry price and a defined team allowance matter: its Starter plan is 99.00 USD per month, billed annually at $1,188, or $116 per month on monthly subscriptions, and includes 10 users and one unified calendar. Upland Cimpl is an alternative with API as well as web platforms, with pricing available by demo request. Sesimi may suit buyers considering custom licensing with preset volumes and optional usage-based costs for integrations, asset hosting and compliance checks.

Proof MRM is worth comparing if per-seat annual-contract pricing is preferable: its SMB plan is 29.00 USD per seat per month and its Enterprise plan is 49.00 USD per seat per month. Screendragon offers custom pricing per user per month, plus a one-off setup and training fee, so it is an option for teams seeking a tailored quote. Simple Asset Manager is another paid web option. Uptempo is a paid web option. IntelligenceBank Marketing Operations may be preferable when a custom quote that includes Digital Asset Management is a better fit; its quote depends on package, user types and numbers, storage, usage and add-ons.

Verdict

Choose Cohiva Campaign if your team needs one web product to coordinate campaign schedules, approvals and local execution against shared brand standards. Its clearest advantage is combining those workflows with a customer-defined pre-launch checklist scan. Look elsewhere if you need a compliance guarantee, or if your coordination needs do not justify a $149.00 USD monthly plan.
