In their own words
Conceptboard
Conceptboard is a shared online whiteboard that combines visual collaboration with digital task management. It supports brainstorming, workshops, project planning, product roadmapping and team decisions. Boards can hold tasks, comments, templates and sections, with project organization, diagramming tools, presentation mode, an infinite canvas, workshop templates and voting tools. External guests can open a shared board without an account; guests and visitors are free on professional accounts. Conceptboard lists integrations with Microsoft Teams, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Atlassian Confluence and Webex. The company states that content is encrypted with 256-bit AES in transit and at rest, with TLS for device-to-server communication, and that it is GDPR-compliant and certified to ISO 27001, ISO 27017 and ISO 27018. The cloud service requires an internet connection. Free allows three active boards, 100 objects per board, 250 MB storage and 10 MB uploads. Starter is €5 a month and includes unlimited boards, up to five active projects, 5 GB storage and 25 MB uploads; a 30-day trial is listed.
Padlet Sandbox
Padlet Sandbox is a collaborative digital canvas for drawing, writing, and adding media. People can contribute together and see one another’s additions in real time. Add cards and play them in sequence as a slideshow for a lesson, presentation, or storybook, or connect card content to build branching activities, interactive documents, and games. The product page describes more than 25 tools, including breakout rooms, keyboard shortcuts, object linking, granular permissions, and automatic content moderation. Sandbox supports diagramming, workshop templates, guest collaboration, presentation mode, and voting, but it is not an infinite canvas. It runs on Android, iOS, macOS, Windows, and the web, with support for major browsers. Google options include sign-in, Classroom sharing, and Drive files; Padlet also supports importing Jamboards. The Free plan is free and includes 3 padlets, 20MB uploads, 1 user, 2-minute videos, and 5-minute audio. After June 30, 2026, free accounts are limited to 3 total Sandboxes and boards; additional Sandboxes become read-only unless the user upgrades.
