In their own words
Crazy Egg
Crazy Egg is a website analytics platform for examining visitor behavior and conversion activity. It offers heatmaps, session recordings, web analytics, A/B testing, surveys, popup calls to action, conversion analytics, and error tracking. Reports can show clicks, scrolling, overlays, confetti, and lists. The Free plan includes Web Analytics, Instant Heatmaps, Conversion Analytics, and surveys. Instant Heatmaps track up to 1,000 sessions per day and retain 30 days of data, with no website limit. Paid plans start at $29 a month, billed annually, and include a 30-day trial that requires a credit card. Starter includes 5,000 tracked pageviews, five heatmap reports, and 50 recordings per month. All paid plans include unlimited website domains and team members. Crazy Egg is available through web, API, and extension platforms, and installation integrations include Shopify, WordPress, and Google Tag Manager. When monthly tracking limits are reached, data collection pauses until the first of the next month.
LogRocket
LogRocket combines session replay, product analytics, and error monitoring for web and native mobile apps. Performance monitoring covers web vitals, CPU and memory use, network speed, request duration, and page loads. LogRocket lists 40+ out-of-the-box integrations and supports custom integration setup; examples include Datadog, New Relic, Zendesk, Intercom, Sentry, Snowflake, and LaunchDarkly. Passwords are excluded by default, and customers can block or redact other sensitive fields before data leaves the browser. LogRocket states that it is SOC 2 Type II certified, encrypts data in transit and at rest, and supports GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and FINRA requirements. Enterprise self-hosted deployments run on customer infrastructure, with data staying within the customer's network.
