In their own words

Datto Endpoint Backup for Windows

Datto Endpoint Backup for Windows backs up and restores Windows PCs, servers, virtual machines, and cloud instances directly to Datto Cloud, without an appliance. Policies let administrators choose data, schedule backups from once every hour to once every 24 hours, set retention periods of 90 days, 1 year, 3 years, or 7 years, and manage bandwidth. Recovery includes files and folders, file versions restored elsewhere or downloaded directly, and bare metal restores to the same or different hardware. A unified portal provides alerts and visibility into backup status, history, storage use, and policy settings for Windows and Mac endpoints. Backups are encrypted in transit and at rest, with optional customer-managed keys; listed protections also include forced MFA, KaseyaOne single sign-on, and immutable cloud storage. The product integrates with Autotask PSA, Datto RMM, Kaseya VSA, IT Glue, and Compliance Manager GRC. Supported systems include Windows 10 and 11, Windows Server 2012 R2 through 2025, and macOS, though Windows 10/11 Enterprise multi-session is incompatible. Pricing is on request, based on storage used, and there is no free plan.

Druva Endpoint Data Protection

Druva Endpoint Data Protection is a cloud-native backup and recovery service for business-critical laptop and desktop data. It supports Windows, macOS, and Linux, with air-gapped and isolated data, anomaly detection, flexible recovery, and point-in-time recovery for ransomware scenarios. The service can also migrate user data and settings during device refreshes or operating-system upgrades. A centralized console provides backup status, device visibility, health monitoring, and automated mass deployment and upgrades. Administration integrates with AD, LDAP, and Azure AD, and supports SCIM 2.0 systems such as Okta. Druva describes end-to-end encryption, data sharding, digital envelope encryption, and zero-trust access controls. The endpoint offering also supports legal-hold preservation, eDiscovery culling, and federated metadata search for security investigations. Pricing is available on request, and a 30-day trial is listed. It is presented for enterprise endpoint fleets, including remote workforces and large global teams.
