Dayforce Scheduling
Dayforce Scheduling helps organizations plan staffing coverage, manage labor budgets, and provide employees with schedule flexibility. It forecasts labor demand using historical data, recent trends, and seasonal predictions, then can generate schedules based on preferences, business demand, pay rates, and other factors. Centralized scheduling allows workers to be shared across locations. Employees can set availability and preferences, swap or offer shifts, and request time off, subject to configuration and manager approval where applicable. Dashboards include attendance, absenteeism, and unplanned overtime metrics. The product also aligns time worked by salaried project-based employees to projects for labor allocation against general ledgers. Its iOS app supports schedule and shift viewing, coworker messaging, and shift trade decisions; trades between locations are unavailable in the mobile app. Dayforce says its regional predictive scheduling rule can help manage fair workweek requirements. Platforms listed are Android, API, iOS, and web. There is no free plan, and pricing is available by request. Dayforce Scheduling is made by Dayforce, founded in 1992 and headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, and Minneapolis, Minnesota.
