Overview

Degpeg brings livestream commerce, shoppable video and customer communications into one service for retailers, creators and brands selling through web, apps and social channels. Its breadth is appealing, but the free tier is a constrained trial ground rather than a complete selling setup; app streaming and more capable video campaigns begin at $200 per month.

Web broadcasts require landscape video, whereas app streams use portrait. Teams planning to use both should account for producing or adapting content to different orientations.

Key features

Degpeg supports live selling from a website or app alongside more than 30 social communities, including Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, Twitter, Twitch, Pinterest and Instagram. That combination can help a seller reach its own audience and social followers from one commerce operation. The company says it integrates with any e-commerce platform, a potentially broad fit for existing stores.

Shoppable video turns new or existing video into a shopping experience. Free and Basic allow one web page but provide neither calls to action nor video sharing, so they are limited for campaigns meant to move viewers toward a purchase. Advanced adds one CTA, sharing and up to two pages; Enterprise raises the CTA allowance to four and makes page count custom.

The communications product combines call routing, screen sharing, adding people to calls, recording, a chat inbox, triaging and location tracking. These tools can serve customer conversations around a live event, but the lower plans omit screen sharing and conferencing. Advanced allows conferencing for up to three people, while Enterprise offers custom conferencing. Communications can be connected to websites, apps and digital campaigns including email, WhatsApp, SMS, notifications and newspaper ads.

Live sessions can be recorded, with retention tied to plan: two days on Free, seven on Basic and 30 on Advanced. Degpeg also links API documentation and a downloadable SDK. It says its in-house team supports livestream production, though plan support ranges from none on Free and Basic to email-only technical support on Advanced and technical support on Enterprise. Its privacy policy gives users ways to access, correct, withdraw consent for or request deletion of personal data by emailing hello@degpeg.com; the company describes its security measures as industry-standard but disclaims responsibility for information security.

Pricing

Free costs 0.00 USD per free and includes web access, 1,000 minutes per month, two-day recording retention and free analytics. It excludes screenshots, file sharing, screen sharing, conferencing, third-party integrations and technical support. Shoppable video is restricted to one page, with no CTAs or sharing. It is suitable for a small test, not a sustained or feature-rich operation.

Basic costs 100.00 USD per month for web access and 5,000 minutes monthly. It extends recording retention to seven days and adds screenshots and basic analytics, but still excludes file sharing, screen sharing, conferencing, third-party integrations and technical support. Its one-page shoppable video allowance still has no CTA or sharing. Basic fits web-only sellers who need more minutes and retention than Free, but not interactive communications or stronger video campaigns.

Advanced costs 200.00 USD per month and adds Android and iOS apps, 15,000 monthly minutes, 30-day recording retention, screenshots, file sharing, screen sharing, conferencing for up to three and advanced analytics. Technical support is email-only. Shoppable video includes one CTA, sharing and up to two pages. This is the first plan that makes sense for app-based selling or conversion-focused video, though teams needing broader conferencing or support should look higher.

Enterprise has custom pricing and includes web and app access, custom call minutes and recording retention, custom conferencing, advanced analytics, third-party integrations and technical support. Shoppable video allows four CTAs, sharing and custom page counts. It is aimed at operations whose usage or integration needs exceed fixed tiers.

Platforms

Degpeg supports web, Android, iOS and API. Free and Basic are web-only; Android and iOS streaming appear on Advanced and Enterprise. The distinction matters for mobile-first sellers: paying for Basic does not unlock app streaming.

Who it's for

Degpeg is a plausible fit for e-commerce and retail businesses, content creators, advertisers, educators, gaming businesses and other brands that want live selling and customer communications together. It is less suited to a seller seeking a low-cost app-enabled plan, since apps begin at $200. Teams that need only basic web broadcasts may find Free or Basic sufficient, provided their minute and retention limits fit.

Pros and cons

Pros: Live selling spans a website or app and more than 30 social communities, giving sellers multiple distribution routes.
Pros: Shoppable video and communication tools sit alongside livestreaming, with stronger CTAs, sharing and conferencing on higher plans.
Pros: Advanced includes apps, 15,000 minutes per month and 30-day recording retention.
Cons: Free and Basic lack screen sharing, conferencing and third-party integrations; Free also caps usage at 1,000 minutes per month and retention at two days.
Cons: Shoppable video on Free and Basic has no CTA or sharing, limiting their use for active purchase campaigns.
Cons: Web and app streams require different video orientations, complicating production across both.

Alternatives

Browse Live Shopping Platforms for more options. Choose Videeo instead if its $29.99 USD per month Popclips Basic plan, with 15,000 views per month, custom video carousels and Instagram and TikTok imports, better matches a video-led requirement. Bambuser is worth comparing for its free tier with 250 monthly views, two users, one domain or market and 10 GB storage, or its $79.00 USD per month Essential plan.

LiveMeUp offers a free tier and paid Grow at $89.00 USD per month or Scale at $249.00 USD per month; compare it if those tiers better suit your budget. Lesuto is an alternative with a free plan and no trial, including allowances for websites, AI credits, integration credits, streaming VM and email. iimpro may suit sellers who prefer a free-to-install Starter plan with a 6% commission on order subtotals and no monthly subscription.

TalkShopLive has a Shopify Basic option at $0 per month plus usage charges of $0.30 per item sold and 10.25% of order value. Dots Live Shopping is another paid option to consider. Shoplive uses custom quotes based on broadcast frequency, audience and integration scope, and includes live, short-form and targeted-ad capabilities.

Verdict

Choose Degpeg if you want live commerce, shoppable video and customer communication tools in one platform, and can work within its tier boundaries. Its strongest case is Advanced: apps, substantial monthly minutes, longer recording retention and actionable shoppable video arrive together. Look elsewhere if you need app streaming below $200 per month, full communications features on an entry plan, or reliable security assurances beyond the company’s stated measures.
