In their own words
DepoFlow
DepoFlow syncs deposition transcripts with video, supports testimony designation, and renders trial-ready clips on the user’s machine. Its local speech recognition aligns transcript words with video moments, and each completed sync gets a color-coded quality score. In the Review app, transcript and video appear side by side, with page-line navigation, full-text search, and line selection that jumps to the corresponding moment. Users can arrange page-line ranges into designation sets, add ranges in bulk, or import opposing counsel’s lists from TXT, CSV, XLSX, and DOCX files. Exports include stitched MP4s, designation PDFs, and page-line exchange lists, with targets such as TrialDirector, Sanction, Summation, LiveNote/Case Notebook, RealLegal, AMICUS, and OpenDVT. A standalone HTML viewer opens synced video and transcript in a browser without installation or internet. After installation, the desktop app can sync, designate, and render clips offline. DepoFlow offers free viewing and paid options, including sync credits at $7.50 per credit and designation and clip exports at $99.00 per transcript. It runs on macOS, Windows, and web browsers.
MyDepo
MyDepo is a web application for organizing deposition proceedings and their associated records. It covers deposition calendars, transcripts, exhibits, video, and other documents. Users can schedule, review, and change current or future proceedings online. A dashboard links the user’s calendar, jobs, cases, job details, and case jobs. Calendar views can be filtered by case, deponent, or job number and shown by week or month. Completed transcripts and exhibits can be viewed or downloaded in major formats. Colleagues in the same firm can receive shared access to cases, jobs, calendars, and invoices. Optional email notifications can flag scheduling changes and transcript uploads. Invoice searches support case, client matter number, or job number, with totals by case or client matter. The vendor says desktop and mobile devices can be used for scheduling, calendar management, and transcript downloads. Remote depositions, in-person support, exhibit management, and transcript coordination are listed. The service is free, but an account must be requested from the vendor.
