In their own words
deskbird
deskbird combines desk booking, room management, workforce scheduling, and visitor management for hybrid workplaces. Employees can make a one-off desk booking in two clicks or use auto-booking, while administrators set booking rules by team, role, resource, or time without code. The platform can automate check-ins, set access priorities, and release vacant resources. Its floor plan enhancer turns an architect blueprint or sketch into an interactive floor plan. deskbird lists more than 200 integrations, including native Microsoft Teams and Slack support, Office 365 and Google calendar connections, and API options. HRIS connections can transfer leave periods and schedule updates. Mobile apps support desk, meeting-room, and parking bookings, check-ins, and colleague discovery; they require internet access, Android 6.0 or later, or iOS 16.6 or later. deskbird says customer data is processed and hosted exclusively in the EU, and lists ISO 27001 certification, SOC 2 Type 2 auditing, and GDPR compliance. Booking and check-in transactional data is anonymized after six months by default, with custom windows available for Enterprise customers. Pricing is listed from $3.75/user/mo (annual); the Business plan is $4.75 a month per active user, billed monthly.
Siemens Building X
Siemens Building X is a cloud platform for managing building operations and using building data to improve sustainability, operations, and performance. Its applications address energy and sustainability, safety and security, and operations and maintenance. Energy Manager monitors energy use and costs, compares building portfolios, and provides custom performance indicators, analytics, and reporting. Building X connects with equipment from different vendors through Siemens solutions, gateways, and standard protocols; Siemens devices are not required. Open APIs support application development and system integration, including access to application, building, and user account data. Siemens hosts the platform on AWS and carries out deployment. Siemens says the building owner owns the data and determines how it is accessed, shared, and used. The company lists ISO/IEC 27001, 27017, and 27018 certifications and a SOC 2 Type II report for Building X; Energy Manager is ISO 50001-certified. Subscriptions are yearly, with pricing available by quote. Customers must contact Siemens about cancellation policies and regional availability. Workplace Experience supports mobile and web access and kiosk-supported access.
