DeskBroadcast
DeskBroadcast turns a webcam and microphone into a software-defined studio, delivering processed video and voice to other apps as virtual camera and microphone devices. Its Look pipeline adjusts warmth, tint, exposure, brightness, contrast, saturation, vibrance, sharpness and background blur. The microphone chain includes AI voice isolation, hum filtering, gating, four-band EQ, compression and auto-leveling. Apps such as Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Slack, FaceTime, OBS and browsers can select its virtual devices. Video, audio and the learned room-noise profile remain on the Mac; the app has no account or media telemetry pipeline and works offline. Software image controls work with every camera, while hardware controls require a UVC-compliant USB webcam. DeskBroadcast requires macOS 14 Sonoma or later and supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. The free plan is fully functional but places a “deskbroadcast.com” watermark on output. Pro costs $79, paid once for 3 Macs. Voice isolation adds about 40 ms of latency, and Pro purchases qualify for a full refund if requested within 14 days.
HARQ ClearVoice
HARQ ClearVoice is paid workstation software for real-time microphone noise cancellation and accent neutralization during calls. It filters sounds such as traffic, barking dogs, and other agents before audio reaches a softphone. HARQ states that processing has 40 ms latency, runs on the CPU, and does not require a GPU. Audio remains on the workstation instead of being sent to a server, and the software can work offline. Accent neutralization is described as signal-level speech enhancement that preserves natural speech; it is not translation or text-to-speech. A virtual audio device outputs the processed signal, which the user selects as the softphone input. Named compatibility includes Talkdesk, Genesys, Five9, Avaya, and any SIP client using that device. ClearVoice is enabled as a toggle on an existing HARQ presence agent, without a separate installer. Auto-updates are included per device. Pricing is metered per device per month through an AWS Marketplace private offer, with rates supplied by sales.
