Digify Virtual Data Room
Digify Virtual Data Room is a secure document-sharing and virtual data room service for confidential files, access control, and engagement tracking. It is presented for fundraising, M&A due diligence, investor updates, audits, and board or investor communication. Data rooms provide permissions by user, group, or domain, including view, print, and download rights, plus audit trails and page-level viewing insights. Persistent Protection After Download allows recipients to download a room while owners can revoke access, set expiry, block printing or forwarding, and see opens and reopens. Browser editing covers Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files with version history, and a Q&A workspace is included. Integrations include Office 365, Box, Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, Gmail, Outlook, Salesforce, HubSpot, Zapier, and an API. Digify lists ISO 27001 certification, GDPR and HIPAA compliance, AES-256 and RSA-2048 encryption, and file residency in nine countries or regions. Plans start at $140 a month.
Ellty
Ellty provides browser-based document sharing and virtual data rooms for fundraising, M&A, due diligence, and client work. Its document analytics show who opened a file, which pages they read, and time spent on each page. Users can set link expiration, require email verification or passwords, restrict downloads, and revoke access. Depending on the plan, data rooms include visitor management features such as NDAs, Q&A, folder permissions, analytics, and audit logs. Listed capabilities also include audit trails, document watermarking, Q&A workspaces, and e-signatures. Plans specify 50 GB of storage per user and a maximum single-file upload of 2 GB. Ellty says stored documents use AES-256 encryption and data in transit uses TLS 1.3. It describes AWS hosting with backups, threat detection, WAF, DDoS protection, and rate limiting. The service requires no installation and can be accessed in a browser on Mac or desktop computers. Ellty offers a free plan and a 14-day trial without a credit card. It states that its service is not directly SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certified.
