In their own words
Disroot Email
Disroot Email provides free email accounts through webmail and desktop or mobile email clients. Its Roundcube webmail includes threaded messages, filters, folders, attachment previews, and MIME and HTML support. Mail clients can connect using IMAP over SSL, SMTP with STARTTLS, SMTPS with TLS, or POP over SSL; suggested options include Thunderbird, Evolution, KMail, ClawsMail, Mailpile, K-9 Mail, FairEmail, and iOS Mail. Connections to the mail server use SSL, while outgoing messages use TLS if the recipient’s server supports it. Messages remain unencrypted on Disroot’s servers unless users encrypt them themselves. Disroot says its data is stored on its own servers in a Netherlands data center. Email logs may include usernames, IP addresses, and sender and recipient addresses; they are retained for 48 hours and not backed up. The free email plan includes a 1 GB mailbox and 64 MB attachments. Plus addressing routes sub-addresses to the original mailbox. Users can link a custom domain for sending and receiving mail through a lifetime feature tied to a donation amount they choose. The service supports Android, iOS, Linux, macOS, web, Windows, and extensions.
NevTan Mail
NevTan Mail brings custom-domain business email together with calendar, meetings, team administration, tasks, and notes. Its mailbox supports search, scheduled send, snoozing, signatures, filters, and inbox organization. Guided domain setup checks SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records; the calendar syncs with Google Calendar, and meetings can include Google Meet, Zoom, Teams, or other video links. Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, and other IMAP/SMTP clients can connect. Imports support Google, Yahoo, and Zoho over IMAP with an app password, but not Microsoft accounts; each import is limited to 500 MB, with only one running at a time. NevTan describes transport and account protections, and its features page claims end-to-end and zero-access encryption for mailbox contents. Plans include a free option with 5 GB per mailbox and up to 10 mailboxes. Annual paid plans are $2 a year for 35 GB, $5 a year for 100 GB, or $12 a year for 250 GB per mailbox; monthly Starter is $1 a month per mailbox with 30 GB. It runs on Android, iOS, macOS, web, and Windows.
