In their own words
Ditat
Ditat is a cloud-hosted transportation management system for trucking carriers, freight brokerages, and asset-based brokerages. It brings dispatch and driver management together with billing, settlements, compliance, maintenance, reporting, and customer and driver portals. The web-based service runs in a browser, with dedicated iOS and Android driver apps for dispatch, document scanning, messaging, and status updates. AI document processing can extract shipment details from rate confirmations and create a shipment with the file attached. Fuel planning uses load, route, fuel-level, pricing, discount, and IFTA data to recommend stops and quantities, with planned-versus-actual reporting and options to restrict fueling to approved stations. Ditat lists more than 250 integrations, including accounting, ELD and telematics, fuel cards, factoring, load boards, visibility, tolls, and payments; named accounting connections include QuickBooks, SAP, and NetSuite. Its native EDI handles tenders, shipment updates, documents, and freight invoicing. Pricing is on request; the company offers personalized demos and guided onboarding.
TruckingOffice
TruckingOffice provides TMS and ELD software for owner-operators and fleet builders, with web, Android, and iOS access. The TMS tracks dispatch details and invoices, including payment status and overdue invoices. Its IFTA reporting tracks miles and fuel gallons by state, calculating mileage automatically with PC*Miler. Pro plans add load planning, LTL dispatch, factoring and remit-to support, and driver settlement management. The ELD app supports driver logs, duty-status changes, daily log certification, and roadside inspection reports; its vehicle interface device reads the truck’s ECM and connects to a phone or tablet by Bluetooth. TMS plans range from $25 a month for Basic Owner/Operator to $130 a month for Pro Fleet, with truck counts and workflows varying by plan. ELD options include $23 a month or $240 a year. A 30-day trial is offered. The TMS page states there are no additional-user fees or contracts and that customers can cancel at any time. Free support is advertised.
