In their own words
Docmost
Docmost is open-source collaborative wiki and documentation software for teams editing shared material in real time. People can work on the same page with live cursors and synchronized changes. Its Bases provide table and Kanban views with properties, filters, sorts, and formulas. The editor includes Draw.io, Excalidraw, and Mermaid tools, and listed integrations or embeds include Figma, Airtable, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Miro, Loom, and Typeform. Teams can import content from Confluence, Notion, HTML, and Markdown files. AI capabilities include chat, search, writing assistance, and MCP, using cloud models or local models such as Ollama. Docmost supports web, API, and self-hosted use; its documentation says self-hosted data remains on the customer's servers. Docker Compose with PostgreSQL and Redis is the recommended installation method. Business costs $6 a month per seat, billed annually, with a 10-seat minimum. Community is open source, while Business includes email support and Enterprise priority support.
